through career development & placement, permanent housing,
economic resources, and unlimited access to services that aid in complete
healing and recovery.
Courageous Women
Association, Inc.

services, resources, and empowerment to
women and child victims and survivors of
domestic violence, homelessness,
addiction, prostitution and human
trafficking, incarceration, and other
crippling life experiences.

workshop.

Soft Skills & Conflict Resolution
Our workshop culminates in a formal
graduation ceremony and concludes with
an exclusive job fair where participants
can apply what they’ve learned through
our system.
Providing incentives through our
program encourages good performance,
participation, and outcomes.
Upon completion of our program, all of
our participants are gifted with FREE
suits, computers, business essentials,
and more!
Job resources, empowerment support
groups, referrals and direct access to
other supportive service providers, are
additional incentives and services we
provide through our program.
* FREE child sitting services and meals
are included.
CWA Career Development and
Economic Empowerment
Program is a 6 week workshop that
educates & enriches the lives of women
and men who are victims of violence &
human trafficking, unemployed,
veterans, disabled, formerly
incarcerated, homeless or living in
shelters; contributing to their overall
well-being and helping them gain,
maintain, & advance in employment that
lead to wellness & recovery, and full
self-sufficiency.
Over 60% of our participants
successfully gain employment or
advance in their careers, while
approximately 18% continue their
education based upon the resources,
tools, and skills provided them.
