Objectives : . In this course, students will learn to understand and analyse the challenges of the next UN climate conference, COP21, which will be held from 30 November to 11 December 2015 in Paris. They will improve their oral understanding and speaking skills as they will be taken through many interactive oral activities in order to enrich their vocabulary (about the environment and its preservation) and to discuss issues related to the climate change that threatens our societies and our economies.
. Through different types of communication (debates, round tables, presentations, etc.), students will have the opportunity to express and defend their point of view on the COP21 topics (causes and consequences of climate change, possible solutions to fight against the climate threat, cultural heritage and climate change, environmental conservation, global mobilization, etc.)!. By the end of the course, students should be at ease with expressing their opinion in French, especially in the context of COP21-related topics.
