<Course Registration Procedure and Confirmation>Your course registration can be confirmed on Oct. 6 after registering for courses.
If you need the approval of your study plan from your home institution or of registered courses at HU, please proceed it after receiving your course registration confirmation.
It is your responsibility to confirm the guideline of the credit transfer at your home institution.
Hitotsubashi University gives a “ – “ (bar) instead of a “W” (withdrawal) for courses which a student stops attending in the middle of the semester. For more details, see the Grading section.

2. What You Need to Know Before Searching for Courses
<Minimum Credit Requirement for UG Exchange Students>An UG exchange student is required to register for a minimum of 12 credits for a period of two quarters (ex. Autumn and Winter Quarters combined, plus Winter Intensive Courses).
For graduate exchange students, please go to your graduate school’s office as soon as possible in order to receive the course registration information.
It is your responsibility to confirm the minimum requirement of the course registration imposed by your home institution for your exchange period at HU.

“manaba” can be downloaded after you log in.
Receive your Student ID and Ikkyo ID (network ID)
A student ID is given to UG exchange students in this
session. Graduate students should go to their respective
graduate school’s offices and receive a student ID there.
It will be effective on September 19 (on the first day of
classes).
Your UG student ID MUST be returned to the International
Affairs Office when you return home for good.
