The Italian language courses are divided into six levels: Beginner (A1) - Elementary (A2) - Intermediate (B1) Upper Intermediate (B2) - Advanced (C1) - Proficient (C2).

50+ PROGRAMME € 590Designed for adult students and pr imar ily focused on communicat ion, the 50+ programme combines Italian language lessons and a full set of cultural and culinary that will allow students to learn while having fun and enjoying the Italian lifestyle. The program allows you to combine a vacation to the opportunity to practice and improve your language skills.The duration is 2 weeks (schedule available on the Bologna School’s website).

CORPORATE GROUP COURSESCorporate courses are designed for employees of companies in the Bologna area and can be held in the school or in the company itself.Their priority is the company’s needs, both with regard to attendance and the language skills to be developed.The course’s programme and duration are f lexible and are agreed on with the company and / or the group of students.

PLIDA EXAM TECHNIQUE € 110This course is dedicated to those wishing to take the PLIDA exam to obtain the related certification.The PLIDA Certification is an official qualification recognized by the Italian State and it is necessary for foreigners wishing to prove their Italian knowledge for professional or study reasons. It consists in exam simulations and acquisition of the techniques used to prepare the exam itself.The course takes place during the two weeks preceding the exam date, 3 sessions lasting 2 hours each.

ADA CERTIFICATE

At the end of each course students will receive an attendance certificate corresponding to the course level attended, called ADA certificate (Dante Alighieri Certificate).The ADA certificate, the same and unique all over the world, is traceable and certifies attendance to the courses belonging to Dante Alighieri’s curricular programme, ADA’s course plan, according to educational experiences and teaching quality constantly monitored by PLIDA’s Scientific Board.

WHAT IS ADA’S COURSE PLAN:ADA’s course plan is the curricular and educational planning system of the Dante Alighieri Society.It has been designed and developed as a planning and teaching tool for all Dante’s Committees in the world and for all the institutions offering Italian courses to foreign people.

The plan describes all the contents which, when handled properly from an educational point of view, may allow for the development of the student’s linguistic competence on a given level.

ADA covers the six levels provided for by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2).

PLIDA CERTIFICATE

The Italian language schools of Rome, Bologna, Florence and Milan are PLIDA certification centres.It is possible to enrol for the PLIDA Certificate exam right here in those schools, in order to confirm one’s Italian language level. A PLIDA Certificate will be obtained after passing the exam.

The PLIDA (Dante Alighieri Italian Language Project) Certificate conf irms competence in Italian as a foreign language in accordance with the six levels laid out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages of the Council of the European Union (levels A1-C2).

THE PLIDA CERTIFICATE ALLOWS ITS HOLDER TO: - indicate his/her Italian language knowledge in the most transparent way on his/her curriculum vitae;

- enrol in an Italian University without having to take the Italian language exam (level B2 or C1);

- obtain the residency permit or the long residency permit (level A2 et seq).

COURSES REGISTRATION

* The courses are reserved for Members of the Dante Alighieri Society. The membership card includes the €30.00 membership fee and the€30.00 administration fee; the card is valid for 365 days and allows for the participation in all the activities organised by the Dante Alighieri Society. It also grants discounts at associations and places under agreement (museums, libraries, theatres, restaurants etc.).www.ladante.it

ERASMUS students and bodies under agreement are exempt from the membership card’s payment.

EUROPEAN UNION STUDENTS:EU students wishing to enrol for courses are simply required to go to the Italian language School Office and pay the €60 fee (valid for 365 days) plus the tuition fee for each course they wish to attend.

It is possible to take an assessment test before enrolling in order to understand the course level most suitable to one’s own knowledge of Italian.

NON-EU STUDENTS:Non-EU students wishing to enrol for courses will have to pay the €60 fee (valid for 365 days) plus the tuition fee for each course they wish to attend. Upon receipt of the amount, the Course Management Office will issue a certificate specifying the attendance period chosen by the student and with which it will be possible to request the visa necessary to enter Italy for study reasons.

Fees can be paid either at the office of the Italian Language School or abroad, through any local bank, via bank transfer not requiring any charge to the beneficiary Italian Language School.

Before paying the membership and tuition fees, it would be better to visit the Italian Diplomatic Authority in your country Embassy to ask about the conditions required to obtain a visa for study purposes.
