Courses to be taken for Master’s Program 1) First Semester (Both Courses are Compulsory) a) PSK5905 – Special Topics i) Weekly meeting with Supervisor regarding the research that one is undertaking. ii) Consists quizzes, final exam where applicable (depends on Supervisor) iii) Final marks depend on Supervisor as well. iv) Class is necessary to develop a proper proposal with the guidance of supervisor. b) SPS5999(3) – Master’s Research i) A course that is compulsory to be taken. ii) No classes to attend to. It is a course that indicates how many hours a week that you need to focus on your research. iii) Final Grade is also given by the supervisor. 2) Second Semester (All courses are Compulsory) a) SPH5113 - Health Research (3-credit) i) Class of Research Methodologies to be implemented in the proposal. ii) There is final exam and also a presentation on the proposal developed. b) SPS5903 – Seminar (Research Proposal 1-credit) i) There is no class for this course. ii) Only a final presentation of the proposal that is developed in front of the supervisor and the committee. c) SPS5999 – Master’s Research (6-credit) i) Similar to the one above but this time with 6 credits d) SPH5112 – Medical Statistics (3-credit) i) Class on Statistics with Professor Dr Rampal ii) Must register early. Class might get full.

b) SPS5999(3) – Master’s Research i) A course that is compulsory to be taken. ii) No classes to attend to. It is a course that indicates how many hours a week that
