Coventry Extra Care Housing Schemes provide people who do not need or want to move in to long term care, with suitable housing and support from a trained Care Team who will work with them to meet their needs identified in their Care Plan.
Making Space are working in partnership with Midland Heart to provide high quality care and support to people aged 55+ who want to continue to live as independently as possible.
How can we help?All our support staff are trained to provide the care and support you need to maintain your independence and dignity. Our friendly and experienced staff will:
• Provide high quality personal and domiciliary care services to you in your own flat
• Assist you, where possible, to be as independent as you wish
• Provide you with a professional package of care and support
• Ensure you are living in a safe environment
• Support you to meet the outcomes you have identified in your care plan and treat you with dignity and respect at all times
• Receive ongoing training to perform tasks that are expected of them and be regularly supervised
• Ensure a consistent service is provided
AccomodationWe have 5 extra care housing schemes in Coventry that offer one or two bedroom self-contained flats to rent. Each service operates on 24 hour, 365 days of the year basis with an on-site care office and dedicated on-site staff team, should you need them.
In addition to their self-contained flats/bungalows, residents have access to communal facilities including a lounge, restaurant, library, entrance lobby with informal seating, gardens and parking.
Our 5 schemes are Alexandra House, Poppy Court, Bevan Court, Willowbrook Court and Princethorpe Court.
