Abudaqa Bachelor degree holder in Civil Engineering with 8 years’ experience

in the construction industry in United Arab Emirates.

In my current position as a Projects Manager for AL Futtaim Group Real Estate

Company L.L.C, I am responsible for the conception, development and

construction of a number of projects throughout Dubai and the Northern

Emirates. The main objective of my role will be to successfully oversee and

ensure delivery on a mixed-portfolio commercial, residential and retail assets.

These projects are in various stages of completion and operation from new

build, through to part-completion and refurbishment and I am responsible for

ensuring that all projects are running cost effectively and within budget and on

schedule for completion.

in addition to that I have to ensure project delivery; conducting site visits;

identification of potential development project risk and implementing a risk

mitigation strategy; monitoring costs; undertaking regular value engineering

exercises; participating in the evaluation of suitable Consultants and

Contractors, etc.

On the other hand, I have completed many civil construction projects from (A-Z). I

review the project drawings, raise all required RFI’s, prepare the material

procurement schedule, work shop drawings, and obtain all the required

approvals prior to proceed with the work on site.

Coordination between our civil construction team and different subcontractors,

between subcontractors themselves and local authorities is part of my scope of

works. Also I have prepared the O&M manuals, as built drawings and other

handing over documents.

Also, I have good practical site experience while working with the Engineering

Contracting Company (ECC) as a site and project engineer.
