I would like to propose my candidacy for the position of
Business Adviser which was advertised in the Sunday issue of The
News newspaper dated 08-09-2013.
I have more than two years of experience in sales and marketing.
I have worked as a Business Development officer, stepped further to
hold the position of a Territory Manager, as a Product Manager in
the medical industry and now working as an Assistant Manager,
Business Development in the retail industry. I am very well aware
of the sales & marketing Industry and possess strong
selling/marketing abilities and negotiating skills that I have
learnt from my job experiences and through meeting professionals of
diversified backgrounds from different industries (FMCG, Tobacco,
Health, Retail) that I have worked in.
At present, I have been employed in a business development role
where I am required to primarily conduct qualitative and
quantitative market research for new, potential, profitable and
sustainable business opportunities and also designing and
preparation of business proposals / plans and negotiating them and
finally closing a successful deal with the partner organizations
from public and private sectors of the economy. I believe that this
is exactly the type of experience you are looking for in an
applicant for this post.
My strengths include, but are not limited to the following;
Able to train, lead and develop a dynamic and diverse team of
people. Ability to convince and negotiate with a client easily.
Ability of having a strong follow up with clients that helps me to
maintain a long lasting business-friendly relationship with the
client. Ability to work under minimum supervision.
Furthermore I would like to state that I am keen to join a
winning team and reputable company like yours, where I will have
the opportunity of not only working with people of the highest
caliber but also having the chance of learning from them. As a
passionate and an enthusiastic individual who wants to progress, I
am now looking to work in an energetic and performance-driven
