know what it means to have a prime CityPlace location, just steps to a selection of interesting restaurants,

shops, cultural and entertainment options.

When we decided to upgrade our offi ce space, we were really impressed with the value and top-quality fi nishes

and amenities that the building had to offer.”

Hunter Beall,

The prime location of The Offi ces at CityPlace North –

two fl oors of offi ce space above the shops and restaurants

north of Macy*s – is one if its primary advantages. The

building also offers a very competitive price point, effi cient

fl oor plans, free parking in an adjacent garage, tall windows

and wrought-iron balconies. Several new tenants have moved

in recently including AMR Capital.

Cleveland Clinic Florida will add

another 9,754 sq. ft. of space to

accommodate additional internists and

specialists in sports medicine, pulmonary

services and gastroenterology. The

world-renowned medical facility has had nearly 40,000

appointments since opening in November 2008, and offers

specialists in internal medicine, neurology, orthopedic,

spine, pulmonary, endocrinology, gynecology, colorectal

and cardiology. The facility currently occupies 16,840

sq. ft. on the 14th fl oor and an additional 2,146 sq. ft.

on the ground level that includes an imaging center

complete with MRI and CT scan services.

CityPlace Tower will also create a new entrance on the

north side of the building that offers Cleveland Clinic

patients direct, convenient access to their medical offi ces.

The new offi ce space and entrance are expected to be

completed by October.

THE OFFICE COLLECTION AT CITYPLACE

C I T Y P L A C E T O W E R T E N A N T S

‘PAY IT FORWARD’

CityPlace Tower is the premiere offi ce

address in Florida, and has a tenant

roster of blue-chip companies from

around the country. Now nearly fully

leased, McLaughlin & Stern, LLP,

one of New York’s oldest law fi rms, has recently announced

plans to relocate its West Palm Beach offi ce to CityPlace

Tower. Some of the building’s features that attracted the fi rm

include the $4 million back-up generator system, high-impact

windows and state-of-the-art security.

Carlton Fields’ West Palm Beach offi ce, located on

the 12th fl oor, is an active partner of the Supporters of

the Pre-Law Magnet, Inc., which is devoted to furthering

the success of Palm Beach Lakes High School’s Center

for Pre-Law Program – the only law magnet program in

the state of Florida. Carlton Fields Shareholder Stacey

Sutton is a founding Board member of the organization,

and she has helped to develop and implement a variety

of programs designed to give students a fi rst-hand look

at the legal fi eld. The fi rm’s attorneys have rallied in

support of the program by arranging lectures by legal

luminaries; coaching students to state and local

victories in moot court competitions; providing summer

internships; facilitating educational fi eld trips including

a trip to the 4th District Court of Appeal to watch oral

argument; coordinating with the 4th DCA to hold the

fi rst-ever oral argument in a public high school; and a

host of other mentoring opportunities.

What attracted you to CityPlace Offi ce Tower?

The decision to move came after many months of

reviewing what made the most sense - fi nancially

and otherwise, over the near and long-term for the

fi rm’s continued commitment to the South Florida

marketplace. We highly value the state-of-the-art

infrastructure, amenities and the convenient central

location of the building. We very much look forward

to relocating there in April.

How many attorneys will be working from this location and in which areas of practice?

Our fi rm has had a Florida presence for nearly 30

years, currently with offi ces in West Palm Beach and

Ft. Lauderdale. Twenty-four attorneys will work in

the CityPlace location practicing in the areas of

Business Law; Insurance/Reinsurance; Intellectual

Property; Litigation; Private Client; Public Finance;

and Real Estate. We are full-service and have the

advantage of being able to collaborate with the over

525 attorneys in EAPD’s offi ces worldwide including

the UK and Asia.

What is the EAPD HIT program?

There has been incredible disruption in the global

marketplace in the past couple of years. Now is the

time to invest in innovation. EAPD HIT – Helping

Innovators Thrive – is a program designed to provide

entrepreneurs and young companies with support

and access to strategic legal advice. EAPD is

dedicating up to $2 million in discounts, deferrals

and awards of free legal services annually to this

program. We believe that many of the global

solutions to a better future will be developed by

small, entrepreneurial companies and we understand

that navigating through the maze of fi nancial

obstacles and legal issues can be challenging for

young companies.

Do you have any events scheduled in the area?

CityPlace Tower is an exceptional venue to host our

clients and friends - the central location, parking,

shopping, restaurants as well as the offi ce space

confi guration itself are perfect for both large and

intimate gatherings. We are planning to host an

open house shortly after the move and our Women’s

Business Collaborative annual charitable event

toward the end of the year. Being part of the

community for over a quarter century, EAPD

attorneys regularly participate in legal and business

organizational events throughout Florida.
