1 InstalltheProgrammerdriversfromtheUSBFlashDriveorgotowww.hidglobal.com/omnikeyanddownloadthelatestOMNIKEY5321Drivers.See“References”onpage4foraccessingtheOMNIKEYDiagnosticToolandUserGuide.

2 InstalltheUSBtoUARTCableDrivers.Gotowww.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htmanddownloadtheappropriatedriversforyoursystem.

3 Afterinstallingthedrivers,attachtheOMNIKEY5321SmartCardReadertothecomputer’sUSBport.

4 InserttheUSBFlashDriveintothecomputersUSBport.GototheSetupfolderanddouble-clickSetup.exetoinstalltheCP600SoftwareandDrivers.

5 InserttheSecurity CardintotheOMNIKEY5321SmartCardReader.

6 Duringinstallation,theCP600doesnotloadthenecessaryIclassConfigTool.xmlfile.Thisfileismatchedtoyoursecuritycard.Thesoftwarestarts,butismostlydisabled.InthePreferencesdrop-downbox(lowerrightcorner),selectImport Config XMLandfollowtheinstructionstoenableallfeatures.

Note: PerformtheImportConfigXMLactiononlyaftertheinstallationofthesoftwareorwheneveryouwanttoswitchsecuritycards.

Security Card - SAM PasswordInordertowritekeystoacredential,youmustlogintotheSecurityCard.TheSecurityCarddefaultpasswordishid.Whenpromptedforthepassword,youmaychoosetochangethepasswordatthattime.
