SafetyPrecautionsWhenusingyourheatpress,basicprecautionsshouldalwaysbefollowed,includingthefollowing:

1. Readallinstructions.2. Useheatpressonlyforitsintendeduse.3. Toreducetheriskofelectricshock,donotimmersetheheatpressinwaterorotherliquids.4. Neverpullcordtodisconnectfromoutlet,insteadgraspplugandpulltodisconnect.5. Donotallowcordtotouchhotsurfaces,allowheatpresstocoolcompletelybeforestoring.6. Donotoperateheatpresswithadamagedcordoriftheequipmenthasbeendroppedordamaged.Toreduce

theriskofelectricshock,donotdisassembleorattempttorepairtheheatpress.Takeittoaqualifiedservicepersonforexaminationandrepair.Incorrectassemblyorrepaircouldincreasetheriskoffire,electricshock,orinjurytopersonswhentheequipmentisused.

InitialSetupGeneralGuidelines:

• Toavoidburns,donottouchtheheatedplatenduringuse.• Keephandsclearoftheupperplatenofthepressduringplatenlockdownasthepressuremaycauseinjury.• Pressshouldbeplacedonasturdy,suitablestandatleast36”Lx24”Wx29”H.• Workareamustbekeptclean,tidyandfreeofobstructions.

Thisguideiscreatedwiththeuserinmind.Carefullyfollowthestep-by-stepinstructionsforbestresults:

1. Connectthepowercordintoaproperlygrounded120voltelectricaloutletwithaminimum10amprating.• Ifused,aminimum12-gaugeextensioncordisrequired.Short,heavy-dutycordsarerecommended.• Circuitspoweringotherhighdemandequipmentshouldnotbeused.• Powersupplycordmustbedisconnectedbeforecleaningorservicingpress.

2. RaisethelifthandletotheUPposition.• Whennotinuse,lifthandleshouldremainintheUPpositiontoextendthelifeofthegassprings.

3. TurnthePowerSwitchtotheONposition

AdjustingTemperature,TimeandPressureRecommendedsettingsvarybasedonthegarmentmaterialandtypeoftransferproductused.

Pleaseconsulttheinstructionsorspecificationsthatcamewithyourtransferproductforappropriatetemperatureandtimesettings.

WiththepressONandtheLiftHandleintheUPposition,presstheMODEbuttontocyclethroughsetupmodes:

Varioustransferproductswillrecommendusingeither“light,”“medium”or“heavy”pressure.Sometrialanderrormayberequiredtodeterminethebestpressuresetting,butonceselectedyourCraftPresswillreliablyreproducethesamepressure,printafterprint.

WiththelifthandleintheDOWNposition,rotatethepatented,Over-the-CenterPressureAdjustmentKnob.

PrintingwithyourCraftPress

OncetheCraftPresshasreachedthedesignatedtemperature,positionthegarmentonthelowerplaten.

Alignthetransfermaterialonthegarmenttobeprinted.

Lowerandlocktheheatplatenintothepressposition.Theautomatictimingprocesswillstart.

ThetimerwillcountdownandaudiblysignalyoutolifttheheatplatenintotheUPpositionwhenthepresscycleiscomplete.Thetimewillautomaticallyre-setandyouarereadytocontinuewiththenextapplication.
