This course has been designed for those who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital. You do not need to be certified or licensed to take this course. Courses are offered at the Main Campus as well as the college sites.

The eight-hour American Heart Association Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Course teaches:• CPR – cardiopulmonary resuscitation for victims

of all ages, including ventilation with barrier device, bag-mask device and oxygen

• AED–automatedexternaldefibrillator
