Despues de que el Comite Ejecutivo decidiera, en su sesi6n del 29 de septiembre de 2009 en RIO deJaneiro, Brasil, apoyar la inclusi6n del futsal en los primeros World Winter Masters Games, que secelebraran del 25 al 31 de enero de 2010 en Bled, Eslovenia, nos complace hacerles lIegar la siguienteinformaci6n relacionada con esta competici6n.
La International Masters Games Association fue fundada por diversas federaciones deportivasinternacionales, y cuenta con el reconocimiento del Comite Olfmpico Internacional. Consciente de quese puede continuar pract icando el deporte competitive durante toda la vida y mejorar su condici6nffsica, esta organizaci6n motiva a atletas veteranos de todo el mundo a practicar deportes de maneraregular.
La FIFA esta muy satisfecha de que se incluya el futsal en el programa de los World Winter MastersGames y Ie gustarfa alentar a sus miembros a que part icipen en este evento. World Winter Masters Games will be held for the first time between 2S and 31 January 2010 inBled, Slovenia and are unique possibility for you to get an »otympic style« experience and feel theexcitement of thebiggest sportsevents in the world
Games Include competrnon in Alpine Skiing (Kranjska Goral, Cross Country Skiing and Biathlon(Pokljukal, Ski Jumping (KranJand Trzk), Ice Hockey (Bled, lesemce and Kranj) and as presentationsport also IndoorFootball or Futsal whichwill beheld in eight different sports hal l around Bled.
World Winter Masters Games are run under the International Masters Games Association IMGArecognized by International Olympic Committee. Founders of IMGA and consequently the WorldWinter MastersGamesare International federationsamong othersalsoFIS, UHF, IBUand FIFA whosesport disciplines are on the programof the Games.

World WinterMastersGames are for everyoneregardless of the level of thesportsproficiency. The only criteriaare the age group, as you have to beolder than 25 years until 31 December 2009.There are no national teams, you are representing only your self and you can enter individually to thisevent.
