Cradle w/ Video Output for iPod Installation instructions... We recommend the use of a “vehicle specific accessory mount” to attach the cradle to your dashboard without leaving any permanent marks. 1. Remove the attached iPod adapter. You may use a flat head screwdriver to help separate the adapter from the cradle base while pressing down on the clip. Exercise caution when using tools. 2. To access the mounting holes, rotate the base of the cradle as needed. Use the screws supplied with your “vehicle specific accessory mount” to attach the cradle to it. Rotate the cradle base as you go from one screw to the next to allow room for tightening the screws. 3. Once you have inserted and tightened all mounting screws, adjust the cradle to a desired angle and rotation. With a flat head screwdriver, tighten the “angle set screw” (located in the center of the cradle) so that it will stay in it’s adjusted position. 4. Select the appropriate adapter for your iPod and snap it in place by first placing the pegs into their places and then leaning it back until the snap hook clips it in place. 5. Connect a dock cable (not included) to the cradle. If the video output feature is to be used, an A/V cable should now be connected. (Apple part number: M9765G/A or equivalent may be used)
