Craftsmans Art Custom 80ft yachtCraftsmans Art was built in 1992 by Southampton Yacht Services and designed by Bill Dixon with interior design by Ed Myers for the current experienced owner.

Guests are instantly impressed by the space above and below decks and the beauty of the exposed structure and furnishing all in mahogany. Boat International stated “...her saloon has cathedral like proportions and she heels to a sailing breeze in a way only a substantial wooden boat can do...”. The lasting memory for most will be slipping along under colourful light weather sails enjoying an evening drink while seated on deck chairs on the aft deck.

LayoutCraftsmans Art was commissioned for cruising as an easily sailed live aboard yacht. Her large cockpit is perfect for relaxation and entertaining. There is seating for 4 behind the shelter of the bridge deck with the main guest seating aft for 8, with the dining area for 12. There are sun-lounging areas both on the foredeck and aft deck. Easy steps lead into the bright airy deck saloon with sofa seating to starboard and navigation area to port, from here you look over the mahogany carved rail to the light and spacious main saloon below; with dining for 8, sofa, armchairs and writing desk. The main stateroom has a king size bed, dressing table, sofa and en-suite. The two identical twin cabins also have dressing tables, storage and en-suites. The galley and crew area are forward of the saloon.

PerformanceThe large 2,000 sq ft square sail will ‘turn heads’ and clip off the miles when many may have resorted to engine power. Her blue water credentials are 10 Atlantic crossings.
