Gibberellic Acid Trial● Cranberry (Early Black – Devlin and

Demoranville)

○ Increased yield but also smaller fruit

● Used in cherries (Rothwell, MSU, 2014)

○ Prevent flowering in young trees

○ Balance between fruiting and vegetative growth in mature trees

○ Increase colour, fruit size, firmness

○ Temperature and variety effects

2019 Work Plan● Increasing grower access to the data● Herbicide Trials – Screening for Efficacy and Phytotoxicity● Harvest – Can examine impact of flooding and sitting in water,

some sort of mechanical impact on FIRMNESS (more realistic)● Square-foot harvests of the Rutgers 2016 plantings (Fruit Rot

Resistance)● Impact of different canopy management practices on different

varieties● Predator survey work
