Dear Friends,
Welcome to another year of incredible art classes at the OSilas Art Studio!
The goal of the OSilas Art Studio is to nurture the imagination of each student in a fun and rigorous atmosphere of visual learning. Artists of all ages come together each week to explore their creativity and master new skills in classes and workshops taught by our superbly talented art educators. There are so many mediums for our artists to explore, and the OSilas Art Studio offers classes for all.
Art appreciation is paramount to our success and twice each year, our students are fortunate to view their work in our very own, OSilas Gallery. There, they are able to celebrate their newfound skills and talents and to develop a lifelong appreciation of visual art. Additionally, our students are treated to a private tour of the Gallery each semester to view the latest exhibition where they can discuss and share ideas with their instructor and their peers. What a fabulous collaboration between two incredible spaces!
Back in the Studio, our weekly classes allow our students to focus on the many mediums we offer. Our more advanced students master complex artistic concepts, and our beginner students are encouraged to sharpen their skills in a nurturing and informative environment.
Our programs are available for all ages and levels. Please don’t hesitate to contact me to further discuss any of the classes we offer.
See you in the Studio!

• Wonderful, diverse exhibitions ranging from our fall African-American art show, featuring works from some of the most critically acclaimed artists painting in the United States today, to a stunning vintage black and white street photography exhibition to an exhibition of editorial cartoons from the early to mid-1900’s.
• Lectures in the Gallery by curators and art experts from top-tier art institutions on a variety of subjects (please see osilasgallery.org for an up-to-date listing of this year’s lectures and special events).
• OSilas Art Studio Exhibitions of student work from all art classes held twice each academic year.
• Plus…Concerts in the OSilas presented by Concordia Conservatory. This series features Concordia College faculty in fresh and innovative programming inspired by the Gallery’s art exhibition.
