Create Template for PhotoDesiree 2

Basic Requirments:

1. Requires an advanced color editor, i.e. Photoshop, PhotoImpact...etc. to create foreground (e-frame image) and background images (e-frame mask).

2. Requires “GalaDesiree” to generate correct foreground and background image size.

3. Requires “HiTi Format Converter” to combine foreground and background images to a template file (*.hyy or *.hyz).

Operation:1. Advanced color editor. (i.e. Photoshop)

(1) E-frame image:

a. To create a correct shape of photo, sticker or mug template, you would need a reference shape image on Photoshop. Simply use GalaDesiree- “shape location of sticker” function to create a new file on Photoshop.

(a) Select “Model”.

(b) Select “Consumables”.

(c) Select “Portrait” or “Landscape”.

(d) Click “Shape Location of Sticker” button.

b. Put the logo or others onto image file, flaten image layers then save it in *.jpeg or *.bmp format.

c. Area in white will be transparent to show printing image; area in color will be colorful to show template.

NOTE:* E-frame Image file is the foreground of template.

(2) E-frame mask: a. Change e-frame image file from “RGB full color” to “Grayscale”.

b. Adjust the “Contrast” to make the logo become black.

c. Apply “Negative Image” to displacement color then save it.

d. Area in black will be transparent to show printing image; area in white will be opaque to show template.

NOTE:* E-frame mask file is the background of template.

2. HiTi Format Converter:Function:

• Converts albums of PhotoDesiree 1.x to albums(*.hta) of PhotoDesiree 2.x. • Converts files of PhotoDesiree 1.x to albums(*.hta) of PhotoDesiree 2.x. • Combines e-frame images and e-frame masks to *.hyy or *.hyz files as templates of Photo D

esiree 2.x. • Converts *.tem files of Photo Desiree 1.x to *.hyy or *.hyz files of Photo Desiree 2.x.

Operation:(1) Select “Image and Mask”.

(2) Browse “Frame Image”, and then select a foreground image.(3) Browse “Frame Mask”, and then select a background image..(4) Click “Transfer” button, and then save it. (To *.hyy or *.hyz file)(5) Copy *.hyy or *.hyz file, and then paste it onto:

C:\Program Files\HiTi\PhotoDesiree\2\Templates\Photo4X6 or C:\Program Files\HiTi\PhotoDesiree\2\Templates\Sticker * Make sure you paste the correct type of template format to correct folder.

Then you will be able to see them on PhotoDesiree2.
