Create your own Podcast!  You are a famous Film Critic, and with a group of Film Critic friends, you’ve decided to create a podcast together to discuss films after you see them.  

Part 1: A) Write down the films’ name and answer the following:

• What genre is your selected film? o How can you tell? o What sort of story line are you anticipating from this film?

• What is your expectation of the film? Do you think you will enjoy the film? Why? Are you expecting not to enjoy the film? Why?

o What has led you to these expectations? • How has the film been marketed? • Watch the trailer. • Does that change your expectation? • What star rating did the film get? • Who directed the film? • Who are the main actors in the film? • When was the film released?

 

B) Open iTunes and enter the iTunes Store. Once the iTunes Store has loaded, type into the search bar: The Spoiler Guys

   Your screen should look something like this:

   Click on the first Podcast:

   Then find a movie you have seen. Click on the free button at the right of the page and wait for it to download. Listen to the podcast. This is similar to what we are trying to recreate. Write some notes down about things you think Alice, Giles and Mark do really well, and some of the things they don’t do well. What did you find really interesting? Keep this in mind when it comes to creating your own Podcast.            

It is now time for you to head down to your local blockbuster or iTunes store to borrow your chosen film!
