The Design: Visual Communication

• As you are creating your composition you will need to consider:

- Visual Hierarchy: Is there an order to your images? Does your design tell a story/narrative? Does it communicate a message/idea about your site?

- Does your design say something? Are you just creating a montage of used images or are you creating something new? What new idea are you creating out of the website images?

The Experience:Mapping their virtual experience.

• Consider that in visiting your website the user is to view and experience but also interpret what they have experienced.

This task requires you to think about virtual interactions online and allow the receiver to recreate their experience in some form. That is they are to view/experience something but then record their experience.

The user is to map their virtual experience in a physical form. That is: they are to interpret their virtual interactions online through a physical activity.

The Experience:Mapping their virtual experience.

In the creation of your task you are to consider how the receiver can record ormap their experience. This could be through a written record or a subjective, expressive interpretation.Remember to be creative. The receiver should not just view information on the website but respond to it.

Finally!!! Consider how that physical record/interpretation could be viewed by others or passed onto others and continued. Think of it as a creative version of a chain letter.
