4 CREATE A STORY

1. After creating the model, you can start creating your story. You can choose to start the story with an

SAP Analytics Template or choose a canvas page.

Here are some examples of charts which may be helpful for the data protection officer.

Be aware that you can divide your story in different pages, if you want to differ between a general view over all records/data and specified categories (for example one specific Record Type). It is also possible to set a page filter to screen all charts for example if you only want to have records of the type RoPA: Edit your story, go to More → Story Filter/Prompt, select the filter symbol which appears left above your charts and choose the Dimension/Measure you want. If you have data which is of the type date, it is always possible to drill up and down, because there is a default hierarchy. You can change the default settings when you create your model and even after creating the model, when you select the date.

5 SHARE A STORY

If you want to share your story, first make sure, that the other persons have a SAC Account. 1. Go into your Story and choose Share. 2. Add the users you want to share your story with and choose the type of access (View, Edit, Full

Control).

6 IMPORTING AND EXPORTING CONTENT

Please see Importing and Exporting Content.

7 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

7.1 Refresh Data

OData Service is not a live connection. The data is not automatically refreshed. To refresh go back into you model and select Data Management. Choose the refresh button in the end of line of the Import Jobs data.

After refreshing your data, check your model again, especially if you grouped the data with a formula or assigned values manually. There could be new values.

7.2 Blend datasets

7.3 Edit the Styling of a Story

Select Edit and choose the designer panel. It opens the builder and you can switch to the styling by selecting the little brush on the right.

Here you can for example choose how many positions after decimal point you want to have. The default setting are two decimal places, but in case you have integers (e.g. Number of Records/RoPAs/…) just change it to zero.
