I created a table about the Status and Threat so the person entering a new record knows what the ‘Red’, ‘Orange’ and ‘Blue’ stands for.

I created another table called ‘Threat’ and added the C, L, H, P and wrote what they stood for so the person adding the record also knows what these letters stand for.

1. You should click ‘Design View’ so you can create the data entry form for new animals.

2. When in ‘Design View’ click ‘Add Existing Fields’ in order to add the different data types, e.g. Group, Status, Threat, etc.

Creating the data entry form…

3. This is the side bar that appears when you click ‘Add Existing Fields’ when you click each of these heading a box appears onto the form.

4. For example when I click ‘Group’ down the sidebar this text box appears and you can move it to wherever you want on the form.

Creating the Data Form…

5. It is important to have a key so people can understand what each code means.

6. It is important to have a ‘Add New Record’ button so people have the option to add new records.

7. To validate the form, you return it back to normal view, which means out of ‘Design View’

Adding the new species… Loggerhead Sea Turtle - info1. Where it is located.

4. Why it is still at risk.

5. How endangered it is.

Adding it into the database.. Loggerhead Sea Turtle.

1. The reason I put the ‘threat’ as hunting is because I found out that the Loggerhead Sea Turtle was hunted for its meat and eggs, intensively, which caused the number to decline. And it is Endangered to this present day still people still hunt these threatened species for its meat and eggs.

2. I put the status as ‘Orange’ as the Loggerhead Sea Turtle is endangered which corresponds to the table as being ‘Orange’ this is the reason why I put it as ‘Orange’

3. I chose the location to be the Atlantic Ocean as the Loggerhead Sea Turtle is found in many different oceans but it is most commonly found in the Atlantic Ocean, this is why I put it as the ‘Atlantic Ocean’

Adoption Costs of a Loggerhead Sea Turtle…

I wanted to convert the dollars into pounds so I converted it, and then rounded the cost up to the nearest whole pound.

I rounded it to the nearest whole pound.

The website states how much it is to adopt a Loggerhead Sea Turtle.

States that there are two choices to adopt the turtle, a basic adoption pack and an enhanced one.

Checking to make sure it is in the database.. Loggerhead Sea Turtle

1. I checked to make sure my animal was in the database, it has added from my Data Entry Form into the database, and to check I typed ‘Logg’ into the Search and it came up.

I then clicked ‘Add New Record’ and it added the record to my database.

All the data I gathered from my research I added into the database. By clicking ‘Adding New Record’

To check it went into the database I typed in ‘Panamanian’ into the search bar and it came up.

It came up in my database with all the data I had added. This means it has been successful and has worked.
