We are always trying to define creavity in order to understand and control its way of expressing and changing, but in my opinion it sll remains a subjecve maer. When I thought of the kind of picture I wanted to take I started to figure out what creavity was exactly to me and how it could be translated into an image; but while thinking a queson came to my mind : should I take a creave picture or a picture that represents creavity? I could imagine examples just for the second possibility, but shouldn’t it be the same, creavity and its representaon? I believe that define a picture as creave is a really difficult business: there are not fixed parameters upon which you can make an evaluaon; on the other hand a picture that somehow represents creavity, showing a part of its meaning, is able to create a direct connecon towards this difficult subject, in order to start an interpretaon of it. In the picture I took there is just one person alone in front of a plant completely covered by yellow flowers. Between all these flowers there are lile pieces of paper with dots and numbers (unfortunately not very visible). Connecng the dots with a line, from the first to the last, an umbrella not visible before comes into place inside the picture, becoming part of the reality. Starng from an hidden concept is possible to create something visible and understandable. Creavity at first is the capability to see something, imagine a result that no one has thought of before, unl you display it finally! It includes the possibility to create links that are necessary to build a soluon, to use what you can find around you in order to make a change or simply find an alternave way to do something common. Creavity helps finding other meanings and makes them real, it plays with the environment, changing something in it or in our percepon of it, starng from an idea, a dream or a desire and flowing towards a concrete result; any triggers can work to begin a process, the important aspect is to show something different or something really ordinary from a disnct point of view, adapng it to the context, like an umbrella cut out of flowers in a sunny day!
