I NDUCT IONImagination is even more important than knowledge. Often times we lose our ability to be creative and imaginative as the year’s progress.

Creativity and imagination is a skill that needs regular attention and exercise if it is to serve you well. Occasionally you need to break out of the norm and expand your repertoire, you need to think differently, and keep your imagination well-tuned.

As you begin this process to expand your creativity it is important that you learn how to relax and to be quiet. Use this meditation to help you to clear your thoughts. Begin by taking a deep breath in……holding the breath for just a moment …then let it go. It feels so nice to just let go. Breathe deeply into your body.

Allow yourself to become even more comfortably relaxed as you allow your body to feel heavy. It feels so good to just relax and be comfortable. Allow this feeling of relaxation to move through your body as you wiggle out the last bit of stress or tension.

MA INIt’s easy to be creative when you have an open and relaxed mind. Imagine your mind is now so open that ideas simply flow into it from another source. Imagine your creativity and imagination is just flowing through you. Now take another deep and cleansing breath. You feel so relaxed that you can hardly move. Watch your breath as it moves through your body, gently and rhythmically.

As you exhale allow your stress and your busy mind to just let go. As you inhale imagine a golden energy is flooding all of your cells, all of your synapses in your brain, every organ, every muscle, every tissue and system within your body becomes flooded with this loving golden energy.

Now imagine that you have a line of energy that begins at the base of your spine. This energy flows down into the center of the earth itself. This energy acts as a sort of grounding chord that helps center you.

Now, whenever you feel ready, begin to access your super-conscious mind, your divine mind. Your divine mind has unlimited access into your creativity, your intuition

and your imagination, all you need to do is tap into this amazing ability. Set your intention that you would like to access your super-conscious mind in this way, and allow your entire body, mind and being to focus in on this concept of receiving.

Breathe in this energy of receiving! Receiving guidance, receiving intuition, receiving imagination and tapping into your creativity.

Just like the muscles of your body, your imagination needs regular attention and exercise if it is to serve you well. You are breaking out of your normal pattern of thinking today and tapping into your own innate ability to imagine and create.

Allow your imagination to drift into this energy of receiving and notice what you experience. You are stimulating your imagination today, and it feels good. Notice how your body feels. Notice how your mind feels.

Just allow yourself to contemplate for a moment and sink into this feeling of receiving.

Long Pause………….Very nice…………

Relax and continue to breathe in the energy of receiving immense creativity and imagination. Imagine that your mind has no limits. Imagine that you have an unlimited access to as much creativity and imagination as you so desire.

Challenge yourself to use your brain in a different way. Get those creative juices really flowing. Now imagine your mind is designed like a mind map.

Now bring a topic to mind or a problem that you’ve been dealing with. Give this energy over to your super-conscious mind …… make some room for a new way or a new path to open up. See your mind as the center of this mind map and imagine your creative thoughts branching out into colorful streams from the middle of this internal mind map. Just like a mind map in reality, your mind is the center of your creative thought process. You can radiate out from the center of your mind and connect with an unlimited source of creativity through your super-conscious mind.

Take a moment to envision this now.

Pause………..

You have the ability to create and connect with unlimited creativity and knowledge. All you need to do is tap into this ability, through your super-conscious mind.

When you are open to accessing a new point of view, you begin to understand that one exists within the much larger context of All That Is.

Be willing to give yourself over to your super-conscious mind……..and come into alignment with the larger truth, the larger plan……come into alignment with your immense ability to be creative and imaginative.

Soak up all this creativity and knowledge you are being given. Feel it coursing throughout your entire space – your mind, your body, and your spirit. Take a moment and tune into this immense realm of creativity that you have access to right now.

Pause……..

Now just let your creativity flow as you contemplate your internal Mind Map. Imagine your mind is creating branches that connect you to the super-conscious mind.

Add feeling and energy as you explore and expand your internal Mind Map. As you do this, know that you are expanding your creativity and imagination and even your intuition.

You visualize on a daily basis, each and every time you daydream, get lost in thought or even when your mind wanders during a boring meeting or a long drive. Even if you don’t think of yourself as naturally creative, you really are, because everyone is. Your imagination appears as a fleeting image; a snapshot in your head or it may even appear as a full-color motion picture running through your mind, it’s all valid. Learn to use your senses. Know that you may hear things, smell things or even just sense things in your minds eye.

Now ask your mind for ideas and see what pops into your head. The more you open your mind up, the more your creativity will flow.

Relaxation is a natural part of visualization, and the more you practice, the easier and better it flows. Just become aware of whatever comes into your reality, no matter how big or small, it is all valid.

WAK INGWhen you feel ready, return your awareness to your physical reality making room for a new normal. A normal that includes this higher level of awareness and knowledge.

Take one more deep, cleansing breath and as you exhale giving thanks for what you have just experienced and received.
