Una semplice figura piana rettangolare si fonde con la geometria di una sequenza di curve sinusoidali.Il frammento liberamente curvato in superficie ottenuto da operazioni geometriche è riprodotto utilizzando il Vetro Venini.La geometria rigidamente applicata diventa un’ “Onda con l’Anima” che assume complessità in relazione alla luce.Tuttavia, la semplicità del quadrato originale rimane immutata.L’”Onda con l’Anima” permette una combinazione libera tra le parti e le onde sovrapposte creano un’ampia varietà di prodotti.

A simple rectangular planar figure is infused with the geometry of a sine-curve sequence.The freely curved surface fragment obtained from the geometric operation is reproduced using Venetian glass.The strictly ruled geometry becomes a < Wave with Soul > that gains complexity in response to light.However, the simplicity of the original square remains unchanged.The < Wave with Soul > allows the free combination of the pieces and the overlapping waves create a variety of products.

ll progetto nasce e si sviluppa con un concept modulare, sfruttando un’ illuminazione di tipo Back lighting, ottimizzando la particolare diffusione che si ottiene con il vetro di colore Lattimo. L’elemento modulare è realizzato nelle dimensioni di 24 x 24 cm. Il modulo in vetro viene sostenuto al centro tramite un elemento in alluminio che funge sia come supporto della sorgente luminosa a LED che come dissipatore della stessa. La particolare forma e sezione dell’elemento permetterà di creare delle composizioni digrandi superfici o volumi che saranno particolarmente adatti ad illuminare vari spazi architettonici.

La forte caratteristica espressiva del modulo è evidenziata dalla lavorazione a “piastra” eseguita completamente a mano.

L’importanza e l’innovazione di questo progetto è costituita dalla sua impostazione in un’ ottica di ecosensibilità. Questa attenzione è visibile in tutto il progetto, dalla studio tecnico fino alla selezione dei componenti.La sensibilità per l’ambiente ed il modo di vivere sono componenti importanti che determinano l’attualità di questo progetto.

I collegamenti elettrici sono coassiali al punto di fissaggio centrale e di conseguenza si renderà invisibile tutta la connessione elettrica.La sorgente luminosa pensata è un Power LED di 1,5 watt x 90 lumen di flusso emesso.

The project is developed as a modular one, using a “back lighting” system and optimizing the special diffusion, obtained thanks to the Milk-white glass. The modular element is realized with the dimension of 24 x 24 cm.The glass modular element is supported in the centre through an aluminum element that combines the function of support and at the same time the one of heat sink. The particular elemen’s shape and section will allow to create compositions for big surface, suitable to enlight architectural.

The strong expressive feature of the element is enhanced by the production technique, completely hand-made.

This project also wants to underline the importance of ecosense. This feature is visible in all the project, from the technical study until the selection of the components. Sensitivity for enviromnent and way of life are very important elements and they determine the topicality of this project.

Electrical connections are coaxial in the central point, therefore all the alectrical connection is not visible from outside.Lighting source is a Power LED di 1,5 watt x 90 lumen.

Vetro soffiato e lavorato a mano con la tecnica ad “incalmo”. Questa tecnica è particolarmente difficile, consiste nel lavorare separatamente la parte superiore e quella inferiore dell’oggetto unendole poi a caldo. Il passaggio è fatto totalmente a mano e richiede la massima precisione.

Hand-made and blown glass with the Incalmo technique. This technique is particularly difficult. It consists in shaping separately the upper and the bottom part of the object and then join the when still hot. This is totally made by hand and requires the maximum precision.
