When you’re HAPPY,toss it high up to the sky.

When you’re UNSURE,pick it up and gently ask it “why?”.

When you’re TIRED,rest your head on it and sleep.

When you’re SAD,bury your head in it and weep.

When you’re ANGRY,throw it far with all your might.

When you’re in PAIN,squeeze it hard, squeeze it tight.

When you’re SCARED or LOST or LONELY,hold it close to your chest.

And you will feel the LOVEfrom those who send their very best.

As your beautiful creations will be given to those undergoing treatment for cancer, special care should be taken when creating these items:

• For hats, soft yarn is the best choice (cotton, acrylic, silk, or a blend is best). Please do not use wool or alpaca as they can irritatetender scalps. Cotton yarn is best for warm climates.

• Must be clean, free of perfume, pet hair, and smoke.• If it’s necessary to wash the item, please use only perfume/dye free detergent.• Please don’t work on a project if you have a cold or flu.• Be certain to wash your hands on a regular basis while crocheting. (I always keep a bottle of hand sanitizer right next to my

project.)• Place completed items individually in clear ziplock-style plastic bags.
