FLOOD PLAN RELIEF MAP The flood relief council have developed this map of town denoting muster points and 7 teams with leaders. The idea is that in the event of a flood the teams assemble at the muster points and carry out remedial flood defence works. At each Muster point sand dry bags will be stored for dispatch to af-fected areas. More volunteers are required and these should contact Sean Keane of Mayo County Council who is organising safety training commencing next week in the Ballina swimming pool. While this is a work in progress it aims to highlight how locals can assist in a flood situation.
