WHALE WORDS
Scotland is a great place to see whales, dolphins and
porpoises. It is amazing to see them leap out of the water,
or to just glimpse a fin or a fluke (tail). These animals are
mammals, like we are, so they need to come up to the
surface to breathe air through a blowhole. They have a
thick layer of blubber to keep them warm in our cold seas!
