In May 1999 the journey began. One that saw the formation of a new and exciting ministry that would reach people in Ireland with the good news of Jesus Christ. Evangelists Philip Kerr and Keith Mitchell (Mitch) lead an ever-growing team that seeks to fan the flame of revival.

Crown Jesus has a passionate desire to see revival in Ireland and has already reached thousands of people across this land with the gospel. With determination and infectious enthusiasm the team works out its vision, serving God and enabling the Church to break fresh ground in reaching the lost through wide-ranging and creative projects. This brochure is designed to encourage and inform you about those projects.

“To see the people of Ireland CROWN JESUS Lord of their lives.”

The inspiration that drives this team is a God-given vision:

“If my people...” (2 Chronicles 7:14) is a central part of the vision of Crown Jesus. The desire behind it is to see prayer restored as a priority in the life of the Church.

Aware of the ever-growing momentum that already exists in Ireland to pray for revival, Crown Jesus seeks to complement this and where possible drive it forward through a variety of prayer events that bring together God’s people all over this land.

In addition to the main events, training is available to churches that are seeking to set up prayer ministry teams and small prayer groups.

Alive

‘Alive’ programmes involve Crown Jesus working alongside churches to form and develop strategies that will be effective in sharing the Christian faith. A programme may include evangelism training, a variety of outreach events and discipleship programmes. The projects can run from three days to three weeks, depending on the content and degree of support required.

Crown Jesus longs to see Christians come ‘Alive’ in evangelism and believes that there are many different methods of outreach that can be used to communicate the good news that Jesus is ‘Alive.’

Running an ‘Alive’ programme could increase the desire for evangelism in your church and leave a lasting impact in your community.

1-Way EventsThese large evangelistic events bring together youth groups and schools from all over Ireland to proclaim that there is 1-Way to live – God’s way. Through these events 1-Way hopes to encourage God’s people and see non-Christians won for Jesus.

This fifty acre site with its own lake and sports hall is the perfect facility for outdoor and indoor activities. Camp Ireland is for 11 – 14 year olds and aims to bring together young people from all backgrounds, creating a community in which there is time and space for sharing and encouraging the Christian faith.

Camp Ireland can take church sponsored groups of up to twenty young people on an experience of a life-time.

If you are ready to give your life to Jesus, pray this prayer right now and Christ will come into your life as promised:

If you have prayed this prayer from your heart, we encourage you to go now and tell a friend or family member what you have done. It is important that you join a local Bible believing church. It would be wonderful if you could let the team at Crown Jesus know so that we can pray for you and send some helpful literature. You can contact us by sending in the reply slip on this brochure or by contacting the office directly.

“Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my heart and receive you as my personal Lord and Saviour. Forgive me for all my sins, fill me with your Holy Spirit and help me to follow you all the days of my life.”

You can receive Christ as your Lord and Saviour right now!

God has personally invited you to...

Come to Jesus and acknowledge Him as the Son of God and your personal Saviour (Acts 4:12). Recognising that you are a sinner thank Him for dying on the cross and taking the punishment of your sin.

Repent. This simply means ‘to turn away.’ Once you realise you are a sinner, ask Jesus to forgive you and turn away from what you know is wrong (1 John 1:9).

Obey God moment by moment (John 14:21), read the Bible (Acts 17:11) and pray daily (John 15:7). Obedience is in response to His love for you.

Witness for Christ by your life and words. If being a Christian is the greatest thing in your life, why keep it a secret? (Matthew 4:19, John 15:8, Acts 1:8). Ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit so that you can be a powerful witness for Jesus.

Never give up on Jesus. He will never give up on you. He gave His life for you and He will never leave you or turn His back on you, the Lord is your helper (Hebrews 13:5+6).
