Thecategorywisevacanciesaretobefilledupbythecandidatesonlybelongingto the above
LWEaffectedDistrictsofState.Thecandidatebelongingtothat particular LWE District will only
beconsideredforrecruitmentintheirrespective District on producing of valid Domicile
Certificateissuedbycompetent authorities so authorized by the concerned
State/Districttoprovetheir domiciliary Status. No candidate hailing from other LWE
districtswillbeallowedtoparticipateintherally.
5. PAYANDALLOWANCESANDOTHERFACILITIES
PayScaleforthepostofConstable(GeneralDuty)willbeRs.520020200plus Grade Pay Rs.
2000/.Inaddition,thepostwillcarrydearnessallowances/Ration Money as admissible

(F) EYESIGHT
(i) Theminimumdistantvisionshouldbe6/6&6/9ofbotheyeswithoutcorrection
i.e.withoutwearingofglasses.
(ii) Further,colourblindnesswillbeadisqualificationforthepostandifatanystageof
theirservicecareer,iftheyarefoundtobecolourblind, theywillbeboardedout
asper SHAPEPolicyinvogue.
(iii) Thecandidatesmustnothaveknockknee,flatfoot,varicoseveinorsquintineyes.
Theymustbeingoodmentalandbodilyhealthandfreefromanyphysicaldefect
likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties. They should
conformtothemedicalstandardsprescribedbytheForceandshouldbedeclared
fit by the Medical Officers of CAPFs. The medical certificate obtained from
elsewherewillnotbeentertained.
(iv) Medical Test (XRay & laboratory) shall be conducted only in respect of those
candidates who are found otherwise medically fit. No appeal will lie if the
candidateisdeclaredunfitinXRayorinothertest/examination.

means
a
person,
who
has
served
in
any
rank
whether
as
combatant
or
non
combatantinregularinArmy,NavyandAirForceoftheIndianunionand:
(a) Whoeitherhasbeenretiredorrelievedordischargedfromsuchservicewhetherathisown
requestorbeingrelievedbytheemployerafterearninghisorherpensionor
(b) Who has been released from such service on medical grounds attributable to
militaryservice/circumstancesbeyondhiscontrolandawardedmedicalorother
disabilitypensionor
(c) Whohasbeenreleased,otherwisethanonhisownrequestfromsuchserviceasa
resultofreductioninestablishment:or
(d) Whohasbeen released fromsuch serviceaftercompleting thespecificperiodof
engagement, otherwise than at his own request or by way of dismissal or
dischargeonaccountofmisconductor inefficiencyandhasbeengivenagratuity

befilledbycandidatesfromnonExServicemencategory.
7. APPLICATION
ApplicationformwillbesubmittedbythecandidatesdirecttotheBoardatrecruitmentcentrein
prescribedformatasperAppendixAasperprogrammeatpara2above.Thecandidateapplying
shouldensurethattheyfulfillalltheeligibilityconditionsforthepost.Theiradmissionatallthe
stages of the examination will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed
eligibilityconditions. If onverification, atany timebeforeorafter thewritten testandmedical
examination,
it
is
found
that
they
do
not
fulfill
any
of
the
eligibility
condition,
their
candidature
for
theexaminationwillbecancelledbytheboard.
8. APPLICATIONFEE
Noapplicationfeefromanycandidatewillbecharged.
9. TENTATIVESCHEDULE
The Tentative Schedule for Recruitment will be communicated to the candidates at the
recruitmentcentrebytheBoard.
10. BOARDSDECISIONFINAL
ThedecisionoftheRecruitmentBoardinallmattersrelatingtoeligibility,acceptanceorrejection,
penaltyforfalseinformation,modeofselection,conductofexamination(s),andselection willbe
finalandbindingonthecandidatesandnoappeal/enquiry/correspondencewillbeentertainedin
thisregard.

11. HOWTOAPPLY
TherecruitmentwillbeconductedbyspecialrallysystematidentifiedDistrictsofLWEStateatthe
respective places/location as stated in Para2. Candidates are required to report to the
recruitmentcentrewithadulyfilledapplicationformasperPerformaattachedinAppendixA.The
application should be typewritten or neatly hand written on one side of foolscap A4 size plain
paper.Applicationshouldbeaccompaniedbyphotocopiesoffollowingdocuments:
i. Tworecentpassportsizephotographs (Oneshouldbepastedontheapplicationform.Theotherphotographwillbearnameandsignatureofthecandidateonthe
reverse).
ii. CopiesofMatriculationcertificateasproofofeducationalqualificationanddateofbirth.
iii. AvalidDomicileCertificateissuedbythecompetentauthoritysoauthorizedbytheconcernedState.
iv. Anyothercertificateinsupportofadditionalqualification.v. Thosecandidateswhowishtoclaimrelaxationonthebasisofcasteshould
producerelevantdocumentsasperAppendixB&Cinsupportthereof,viz.

12. SELECTIONPROCEDURE
(1) REGISTRATION
OnreportingofcandidateatRallyCentre,Applicationwillbecollectedandnamewillbe
registered by allotting Roll Numberson the spot. For accessing to rally ground identity
proof i.e. Domicile Certificate, Adhar No., Voter ID Card and Ration Card etc. could be
accepted.Thedetailsscrutinyoftheeligibilitywillnotbeundertakenbytheboardatthe
timeofPET/PSTandcandidatesprimafacieeligiblewillbeallowedtoappearinPET/PST.
(2) (A) HEIGHTBARTEST
Attheverybeginning,candidateswillbeaskedtogothroughtheheightbarand
therebyineligiblecandidateswithlesserheightwillgeteliminated.
(B) RACE(05KMs)
Candidateswhoare foundeligibleonheightparameterswillundergoPET (race)
whichshallconsistof05kilometersracetobecompletedwithin24minuteswhich
willbeofqualifyingnature.

(C) IDENTIFICATION
Thosewhoqualify intheracewillbesubjectedtothemodernbiometricmethods
to obviate impersonation by the candidates. The biometric methods should be
usedatallstagesoftherecruitment(intheabsenceofcomputerbasedbiometric
equipments, thumb impression digital photograph and any specific identifying
markinthebodymaybeused).
(D) PHYSICALSTANDARDTEST
Those who are found eligible on Biometric identification will be subjected to
height,chestandweightmeasurement.Relaxation inheight&chest(asthecase
maybe)willbepermissibleonlyonproductionofrequiredcertificate.
(E) APPEAL
Appealsfromcandidateswhoarenotsatisfiedwiththeirphysicalmeasurementwill
beaccepted. Ifcandidate isfoundtobewithintheprescribedPSTstandardthey
willbeforwardedtonextselectionprocessincontinuation.
(3) WRITTENEXAMINATION:100MARKS
1. ThecandidateswhoqualifyinthePST&PETwillberequiredtoappearinwrittentest.
2. Thewrittentestwillconsistobjectivetypemultiplechoicequestionstobeansweredusingapen.Thequestionpapershouldbeof100marksandit
willcompriseatleast100questionsfor2hoursduration.
3. AllquestionswillbeofObjectiveTypeMultipleChoice.Questionswillbeset in Hindi & English.Accordingly, the papers can be answered inany
oneofthe language.
4. However, question relating to general awareness, general knowledge,knowledge of elementary mathematics, analytical aptitude & ability of
observe and distinguish patterns will be in Bilingual i.e. English, Hindi
language. QuestionrelatingtoBasicknowledgeofEnglish&Hindi will in
English & Hindi language respectively only. Hence, candidate should
answer question relating to English language in English and question
relatingtoHindilanguageinHindionlytoassesstheirbasicknowledgeof
respectivelanguage
5. Whileallthequestionpapersinanexaminationmaycontainthesamesetof questions, the question papers may be in different series, which will
havethequestionsindifferentorder.
6. Thequestionpaperwillbesetcentrally(Sectortodecide).7. Thecutoffpercentageofmarksforqualifyinginwrittenexaminationwillbeas under:

(4) MEDICALEXAMINATION
i. Onlythosecandidateswhohavescoredabovethecutoffmarks fixed inwrittenexaminationwillberequiredtoappear inthemedicalexamination.Thenumber
ofcandidatestobedeclaredqualifiedinwrittentestwillbeequaltothenumber
ofthevacancies,increasedbyaveragefailurerateduringlastmedicalexamination
determinedonthebasisofpastexperience.
ii. The candidates will be medically examined to assess their physical & medicalfitnessasprescribedintheeligibilityconditions.
iii. Medicaltests(XRay&Laboratory)shallbeconductedbyMedicalOfficerofCRPFasprescribed ineligibilitycriteriaonlyforsuchcandidateswhoarefoundfit.No
appeal will lie if the candidate is declared unfit in XRay or in other
test/examination.
iv. The medical officer while carrying out medical examination will declare thecandidateFITorUNFIT. Innocase,acandidatewillbedeclaredtemporary
unfit.
v. However,candidatedeclaredmedicallyunfitmayfileanappeal/representationwithin 15 days of rejection by the Medical Officer in prescribed proforma
(Enclosed as AppendixE). The appeal panel shall decide their appeal within a
period of one month of the date of rejection. If found medically fit by appeal
panel, the candidate will be recruited subject to availability of vacancies and
subjecttohismakingmeritcriteriafixedforfinalselection.
vi. Declaring a candidate fit in medical examination will not be a guarantee forappointmentasfinalselectionismadeinorderofmeritandlimitedtoavailability
ofvacanciesinrespectivecategories.
vii. The testimonial/certificate of the candidate will be checked at the medicalexaminationstagebytheBoard.
13. DRAWALOF FINALMERITLIST
a) After completion of medical examination test, State/District/category wise merit list ineachcategorynamelyGeneral,SC,ST,OBC&Exservicemenwillbedrawnseparatelyon
thebasisoftheaggregatemarksobtainedinwrittentestbythecandidate.
b) As per Govt.of India policy for reservation and concession, the adjustment of SC, ST &OBCcandidateswhoareselectedontheirownmeritwithoutrelaxedstandardsalongwith
candidatesbelonging toGeneralcommunities,willnotbeadjustedagainstthe reserved
share of vacancies. Such SC, ST and OBC will be accommodated against the
General/UnreservedvacanciesaspertheirpositionintheoverallMeritList.Thereserved
vacancies will be filled up separately from amongst the eligible SCs, STs and OBCs
candidateswhichwill,thus,compriseofSC,STandOBCcandidateswhoarelowerinmerit
thanthelastGeneralcandidateonmeritlistofUnreservedcategorybutotherwisefound
suitableforappointmentbyrelaxedstandard.
c) Incasetieinmarks,themeritlistwillbepreparedinthefollowingorder:(i) The tie is resolved by the Board by referring to the total marks in the
written examination i.e. a candidate having more marks in the written
examinationgetspreferenceoverthecandidate(s)withlessmarks.

(ii) Ifthetiestillpersists,thecandidateolderinagegetspreference.
(iii) Ifthetiestillpersists, it isfinallyresolvedbyreferringtothealphabetical
order of names i.e. a candidate whose name begins with the alphabet
whichcomesfirstinthealphabeticalordergetspreference.
d) Appointment to the candidate will be given only after securing place in merit list andlimitedtoavailabilityofvacanciesinrespectivecategories.
e) AllocationofcandidatestoCAPFsie.BSF,CISF,CRPF, ITBP&SSBwillbemadeinorderofmeritcumchoiceandvacancyposition.
14. FINALSELECTION.
1) The final selection of the candidates will be made in order of meritcumchoice in each
categoryasperallotmentofvacancies.
2) Thecutoffpercentageofmarksforappointmentwillasunder:

3) Thelistoffinallyselectedcandidateswillbedisplayedonthenoticeboardofrecruitmentcentre
andCRPFwebsite.
4) Offerofappointmentwillbeissuedaspertheavailabilityvacanciesineachcategoryinorderof
meritcumchoicebytherespectiveCAPFs.
5) Anundertakingshallbetakenfromalltheselectedcandidatesatthetimeofjoiningthat ifat
anystageoftheirservicecareer,iftheyarefoundtobecolourblindtheywillbeboardedoutasper
theSHAPE
Policy
in
vogue
and
enclose
with
their
Service
Records.
15. OTHERCONDITIONS
a) OnlyMALEcandidatescanapplyandparticipateintherally.b) Before applying, candidates are advised to go through the detailed instructions
containedinthisnoticeofadvertisecarefully.
c) Candidates belonging to the physically handicapped category are not eligible toapplyforthisexamination.
d) Only single application will be entertained. Candidature in respect of multipleapplicationswillberejectedoutrightwithoutanynoticetosuchcandidates.
e) Canvassing in any from or bringing outside influence will disqualify the candidateconcerned.
f) Candidateswillhavetoappearfortheselectionattheirownexpensesandriskandno TA/DA will be admissible. They should also make their own arrangements for
stayduringrecruitment.
g) Thedepartmentwillnotberesponsibleforanyaccidentor injuryor losssustainedduringthecourseoftest.

i) In case of candidates appointed in CAPFs and thereafter seeking resignation ordischargeasperruleshallberequiredtoremittotheGovt.asumofequaltothree

j) On appointment, candidate shall be governed under New Defined ContributoryPensionSchemeeffectivefrom01/01/2004.
k) Mobiles&Accessoriesandotherelectronicgadgetsarebannedwithinthepremisesof the rallycenter/examinationvenue.Candidatureofcandidates inpossessionof
such gadgets in the recruitment centre will be cancelled forthwith. The Board
considerssuchpossessionasadoptingunfairmeans.
