CLCC Family

“Build it Ray. Build itand they will come”.Bit of a paraphrase, probably (going onmemory), but thatline, from one of thegreatest moviesever, resonates withhow I feel aboutCLCC and where we are at in our metamorphosis. We are square inthe build/re-build stage. New Patio and Patio Bar ready for theSpring. Expanded Main Bar nearing completion. New Screen Porchfor day time swimmers and night time diners. New revisions on GolfHoles 6 and 18. New Managers and Staff. Mirriam-Webster definesmetamorphosis as a “major change in the appearance or characterof someone or something”. James Earl Jones’ character saw theField of Dreams before Kevin Costner’s character would commit tothe project. Build it he did, trust won the day, and “they came”.

As Members, you entrusted your Board to build it. The project isnearing completion, and it is spectacular. And now, we ask you forthe ultimate support. We are embarking on a major spring marketingand recruitment effort headed up by a nationally respectedprofessional firm which has a sterling track record. This effort tobring our Club to Full Membership will NOT happen without asteady stream of Member Referrals. With your commitment, we canfill our Field of Dreams for now, and in the future. You commit tothe effort, and they will come.
