2006 Nickel I 7300 Crystal Structure and Electrochemical Behavior of a Novel Polyoxometalate [Ni(bpy)3]2[W4V2O19] with Lindqvist-Type Structure. — The new title compound is hydrothermally synthesized from a mixture of Na2WO4, Ni(OAc)2, 2,2'-bipyridine, NH4VO3, and H2O in a molar ratio of 0.5:1:0.25:0.5:160 (autoclave, 180 °C, 4 d, 60% yield based on V). [Ni(bpy)3]2[W4V2O19] crystallizes in the trigonal space group R3 c with Z = 6 (single crystal XRD).
