□With reference to chapter V of JPOI Vinyl 2010 has agreed a Social Dialogue Charter between industry and trade unions with the objective of raising health, safety and environmental standards to higher levels and harmonize sustainability goals also the new EU Member States

relation to the BREF on PVC production

risk assessments□ Phase-out of cadmium based stabilisers in 2001 in the

EU15□ 20% reduction use of lead based stabilisers from 2000 to

2005

□Commitment on waste management (recycling to ultimate disposal) operating today through more than 20 projects covering technology, research, organisation (recycling schemes) and communication (best practice)

□We are keeping our promises - having achieved our target of recycling 25% in 2003 up to 50% in 2005 of collectable, available PVC post-consumer waste from pipes and windows profiles
