We have learned the different ways information technology can help us with our everyday lives. Making Information Available to the World with HTML and Web Pages - By using and learning basic HTML, the class has taught us how to design a webpage that can be visually stimulating but also informational. Using HTML has developed our learning abilities to let us discover other ways to design computer webpages. Desktop Publishing with MS Word - By learning how to use MS Word, we have discovered different ways to help us with our tasks, homework, and other daily activities. MS Word is a powerful tool that all computers use, and it can be useful to record and share information. Presentation of Information with MS PowerPoint - Microsoft PowerPoint is a way to design and present ideas to the world using the computer. In this lab we were taught how to transfer information straight to a power point presentation. Data Analysis and Visualization with MS Excel - Excel is commonly used to record information and compute numbers. By using Excel, we learned how to design templates and record information that can be used in daily activities. Visual Programming with Alice Lab - Alice is a program that is 3D, interactive, and visually stimulating. Using Alice has taught us the basics of Java, and has transitioned us into creating our own interactive webpage. - We were able to design and create our own worlds, that could move and function with our commands that were set. Computational Thinking- Information technology is dynamic – in

today’s society it has now become more common to use different computer analysis and design in our everyday lives.

- We have learned the different ways information technology can help us with our everyday lives.

Making Information Available to the World with HTML and Web Pages

- By using and learning basic HTML, the class has taught us how to design a webpage that can be visually stimulating but also informational. Using HTML has developed our learning abilities to let us discover other ways to design computer webpages.

Desktop Publishing with MS Word- By learning how to use MS Word, we have discovered different ways to help us with our tasks, homework, and other daily activities. MS Word is a powerful tool that all computers use, and it can be useful to record and share information.

Presentation of Information with MS PowerPoint

- Microsoft PowerPoint is a way to design and present ideas to the world using the computer. In this lab we were taught how to transfer information straight to a power point presentation.

Data Analysis and Visualization with MS Excel

- Excel is commonly used to record information and compute numbers. By using Excel, we learned how to design templates and record information that can be used in daily activities.

Visual Programming with Alice Lab- Alice is a program that is 3D, interactive,

and visually stimulating. Using Alice has taught us the basics of Java, and has transitioned us into creating our own interactive webpage.

- We were able to design and create our own worlds, that could move and function with our commands that were set.

Dynamic Webpage Programming with JavaScript

- JavaScript is a way to design webpages on the next level. By using and learning JavaScript, we were able to create webpages that were interactive.

- Combining HTML and JavaScript is the ultimate tool to be able to create interesting webpages that people can also use.
