November 2014 Instructors complete the independent standards rating process EPIC creates draft frameworks from the results of the standards rating EPIC forms technical working groups

OSPI and EPIC facilitate public comment period
April to July 2015 EPIC develops professional development/technical assistance for implementation of CTE course frameworks

2014-15 Perkins DeskContinuing Resolution across the board cut will result in reduction of Perkins funds by $11,920 to WA State. Districts will not see a significant change to their district’s Perkins allocation.
2014-15 Perkins Application Approval Process• District Applications are read by various program
supervisors in the CTE program office• Districts that did not meet one or more the Perkins
performance indicators must submit a Perkins performance improvement plan
• Districts must complete an end of year report (FP 477)
2014-15 Perkins DeskAnnual CTE Student Enrollment (formerly known as the P210 Voc Report)• Expected to Open October 8, 2014• Closes November 14, 2014 @ 5:00 pm• Hand entering/editing is no longer allowed in the
application file
CTE directors must work closely with the district’s CEDARS administrators to assure that data is correctly entered
