This project examines the narratives and assumptions that
people currently have of the state. The project actively integrates
puppets, screens and users to gather diverse state related
narratives. The project consists of two levels. One level refers to
the gathering of narratives regarding the state through a puppet
theater booth, where an interactive DVD will guide the users, who
will share their experiences through the animation of puppets.
These performances will be recorded by a video camera. The other
level corresponds to the screenings of the various videos collected
during the first phase of the project. The overall purpose is to
reflect on the state, as an effort to describe how people perceive
and interact with it, and a the same time constitute a space where
peoples experiences and conceptions are shared. Key words: state,
puppets, anonymity, ubiquity, ebodiment Statement
