FOOD SERVICE DESIGN: Having worked on hundreds of restaurants and grocery store delicatessen areas of various sizes and types, our teams are experienced in working with food service equipment. We offer some of the most flexible food service design and documentation options in the industry, having worked with consultant food service designers, food equipment vendors/designers, as well as, our in-house experts.

REFRIGERATION DESIGN: While most refrigeration for this type of product is self-contained within each piece of equipment (i.e. cooler, ice machine, etc.), we also have experience working on sophisticated systems that require remote refrigeration and trenching.

LIGHTING DESIGN: Working in small and regional retail center design, we routinely work with exterior lighting solutions, completing photometric analysis to meet regulatory requirements. We have the flexibility to work with the brand’s specific vendor or complete them independently by utilizing our in-house interior design experts.

CONSTRUCTION PHASE REPORTING: As a part of our quality control program, we have developed a series of reporting tools that keep the brand informed regarding project status, including project specific forms and reports that can be customized for each brand.

SUSTAINABLE DESIGN: Sustainability is incorporated into much of our work. We pride ourselves on designs that improve our quality of life and avoid negatively affecting our environment. Our approach is focused on ensuring that our projects are designed to try and conserve resources, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and effectively improve your bottom line at a reasonable fee.

An outdated indoor mall was demolished to make way for both a new Outlet Center and a new Power Center. C&P was responsible for providing design services for the Power Center piece; supporting both the intricate demolition of the existing mall and the construction of the new Power Center element. C&P phased the new construction to accommodate an existing retailer that eventually closed so that the Power Center could be built all at once. Despite the schedule being fast-tracked, C&P maintained multiple CD sets for accommodation of various changes that occurred throughout the construction process.

This 40,000 square foot store features a custom façade, made from reclaimed materials from Florida orange groves, while nods to the local culture can be seen throughout the design. Additionally, a juice and coffee bar, along with pizza station give the typical in-store café some extra pizazz.

The store opened in Spring of 2013, as a signifi cant design evolution to the Price Chopper Brand. This “Next Gen” store concept represents not only a metamorphosis of the brand in plan, fi nishes, graphics and cases - but in sustanability; the store achieved LEED Silver Certifi cation.

In addition to traditional grocery store offerings, it includes a, extensive wine/beer store and a food service “Grocerant”.

The success of this store led to the roll-out of 6 other stores, further driving the reinvention process and it’s next phase of innovation to sister brand - Market 32.
