Human Resources in Higher Education

Bob will be discussing some common employment issues faced by schools, including hiring and firing decisions, retaliation

and discrimination claims, whistleblower claims, background checks, use of arbitration agreements, and social media policies.

Bob will also discuss ways to navigate legal challenges faced by schools from the Attorney General, Borrower Defense to

Repayment, and SARA. An update regarding ongoing litigation with the Florida Board of Nursing will be discussed.
