Dear Friends,

Check us out…with a fresh new design to our brochures, signage and other promotional materials. We love the new look and feel like it helps define our efforts to provide vibrant visual and performing art for all of you. Whether you are enjoying a rousing concert, watching a vibrant dance ensemble, laughing out loud at a theatrical performance, discovering the artist within at one of our classes, or contemplating stimulating visual art, we hope you catch our enthusiasm for the arts.

While we will continue our ever-popular Center Season, 2nd Stage, classes, art exhibits and special events, we are adding some special changes to make your experiences even more enjoyable. We are pleased to announce some outstanding shows and exhibits this year and delighted to introduce our

creative venture with Quill Theatre. Thanks to our new partnership with DeFazio’s Catering, we will be offering dinners before select Center Season Shows. Be sure to add dinner to your show tickets and enjoy the art of great dining!

As the popularity of 2nd Stage continues to grow, we are listening to what you—our valued pa-trons—have suggested. Changes to 2nd Stage include the opportunity to reserve special seat-ing for a show (or you can still opt for general admission). And to add to your dining pleasure, DeFazio’s will be serving dinner and snacks before and during the show, so you can come early and eat…or enjoy dinner at your table as you watch the performance. Food and beverages will be served as in the past…just in a different space. If you have never experienced a 2nd Stage show, find out what the excitement is all about. But be proactive, our shows usually sell out!

As you can see, we are changing more than just the artwork around here. We continually strive to offer programs and activities that will keep you coming back. The Center is also the perfect place to plan your next event…weddings, parties and business meetings are even more special when surrounded by the backdrop of inspiration and art.

To all our loyal friends…THANK YOU for your continuing support. And to our new patrons…WELCOME. It is our sincere desire to offer exceptional cultural performances, classes and visual art exhibits.

Thank you for your patronage. I look forward to seeing you at The Center!

The Cultural Arts Center offers many fun and rewarding ways to get involved and support the arts! Smiling faces are needed at all of our Center Season performances to be ushers who welcome our guests, scan tickets, pass out programs and show guests to their seats. Courteous and flexible volunteers are needed to cover the front desk from time to time. During our gallery opening receptions, held six times each year, volunteers help set up and serve refreshments. At our special events we depend on volunteers to help with everything from set up to serving food to baking cookies or even to be Mrs. Claus and her elves! Your commitment inspires us! Our volunteers have tremendously impacted our ability to provide affordable arts education and entertainment to the surrounding community and we are grateful for your willingness to help. In appreciation of your time and effort, we have created a reward program based on hours of service. You can find the details in the rewards table below.
