Ford Mustang 2015 2000 Bookings Already Taken in

Australia 6 Months Ahead of the Launch

Ford Mustang is all set to arrive in the local showrooms across Australia

by the end of 2015. Ford Mustangs base model begins around $45,000

which is relatively less than what it used to be. When compared to Ford

Mustangs 2001 model which was priced around $85,000 for a coupe and

$89,000 for a convertible, the price of the latest 2015 Ford Mustang is

just a little over than its half price. Nonetheless, when compared to what

the US customers pay; Australians will be paying around $20,000 more

for the same car. However, car buffs here do not mind it at all as even

before its launch, 2000 cars are already booked and thats something

    remarkable, says Ford Australia.

Since late 2013, the Blue Oval brand has been creating quite a buzz when

it was confirmed that Ford Australia would be bringing in the new model

for the first time in years. As of December 2014, Ford Australia has

received around 600 bookings; however, the curiosity seems to have

increased when the pricing for Ford Mustang was declared during March

    2015.

The Eco-Boost 4-cylinder fastback version which is turbo-powered will

model. The price would be around $55,000 for the V8 version. At an

added cost of around $7500, convertible versions will be accessible.

Ford Mustangs variant - GT Fastback automatic that comes with 5.0-litre

V8 engine is catching up much attention and is in high demand than the

entry, base model of Fords latest pony car. As per Ford, roughly around

42% of all orders received are for this particular variant. However, Ford

is anticipating that shift will happen gradually and that Eco-Boost variant

will not only make for better sales but also will maintain sales in the long

run compared to most performance cars.

Whats special this time around is the fact that even before the pricing

or specifications were announced for the car, some of the customers had

even made their bookings. David Blackwood, the chief from Bayford Group

Victoria dealership says that he has never seen such a trend before.

Across the Mustang models, the performance pack will remain standard,

stated Ford. This performance pack will include unique chassis tuning, an

upsized rear sway bar on the fastback, heavy duty front springs, and to

safeguard the suspension strut towers to the bulkhead - it comes with K

Brace under the bonnet. A rear limited-slip differential is fitted in all

    variants.

As far as the colour choices are concerned, racing red colour is the most

widely preferred choice by Australian customers, which is very closely

followed by pure black and magnetic.

As per Ford, A number of Mustang fans along with members of the

different state based Mustang clubs have placed more than one order

comprising of different variants of the prominent car, and total 20

orders have been placed by a recognised sports car rental company.
