Well done Cundletown PS we raised $400 on our
Dress like a farmer day, we have forwarded the
funds to the Adopt a farmer rural aid program.
Thank you for the responses regarding the survey
for a Before and After School care, we have had
100% positive response so far.
Our Admin block will have the roof replacement
completed in the break and we will also have our
new playground equipment installed ready for
next term.
This week our staff will complete their term
Maths professional learning program where each
staff member will present effective teaching
strategies completed this term and reflect on the
quality teaching framework. Following on each
stage will have time to work together on stage
planning early next term.
Triple C will perform this week at Wingham Public
and the Tabloid Friday to finish a busy yet very
productive term.
Travel safe on the roads, we will see every one

ACADEMIC CLASSROOM VISITS TERM 4 2019
Academic Classroom Visits allow parents to experience
and understand what is happening in their children’s
classrooms. Classroom visits serve to strengthen the
bond and consistency between home and school,
families and teachers. Parents receive
background information on what is being taught in
class and what to look for.
The visits provide valuable feedback to teachers and
help parents understand classroom instruction and
expectations. By having a specific date and
preparation, many parents will be able to take
advantage of these opportunities.
See timetable below that will be updated when
teachers have finalised their times.
An invitation from each class will be sent home later in
the term. It would be great to see as many parents as
possible attend these sessions.
These are the following sessions booked at the
moment.
This will be updated each week when other classes
have organised a time and date for your child’s
classroom visit.

Basketball Gala Day
There has been a basketball buzz around Cundletown Public School ever since the installation of the new basketball rings, with students from K-6 shooting hoops at any chance they get. Stage 3 students have also been lucky to have participated in professional basketball coaching for sport this term. This has been perfectly timed in the lead up to the inaugural year 5/6 mixed basketball gala day, held on the 18th September at Saxbys Stadium.
Both Cundletown teams were eager to put their skills and teamwork to the test on the day of the gala. And they certainly did, which saw them sinking baskets from all over the court. All players displayed amazing teamwork and tenacity during games. It was great to see teams shake hands and congratulate their opponents after the match. A big thank you to the parents and carers who assisted with transport and cheered the teams on, it’s wonderful to see that sort of involvement outside of school!
I look forward to seeing all students continue to practise their basketball skills at lunch time in hope that we can continue to nominate teams for future basketball events.

Touch Gala Day
On Friday the 20th September, some students from years 3, 4, 5 and 6 attended the PSSA touch gala day at Taree Rec ground. All students who attended represented the school with pride, played with great sportsmanship and showed good skills throughout the day. I would like to thank all the parents who helped on the day with transport. Days like this are not possible without the support and assistance from parents and we really appreciate it.
