birth). The competitor has to reach the relevant age in the year of the

If there are children from outside Europe among the medalists, the European Children on the following places move up and qualify.
The children in category B do not qualify for European championships, but are welcome to take part in the European President’s Cup for Children to gain important experience.
One athlete cannot participate in more than one (1) weight category or age division or in
Kyorugi AND Poomsae.
Regarding Poomsae-Contests only: Contestants may compete in maximum four (4) categories
(Recognized Poomsae max. 2 & Freestyle Poomsae max 2) of competition.
All competitors must prove their age by presenting their passport or identification card at the
official weigh-in/registration..

maximum number of participants ins reached.
Protector & Scoring System: At the European President’s Cup for children DAEDO is being used
as PSS(GEN2). The Organizing Committee will provide DAEDO E-trunk protector and DAEDO E-
headgear. Each athlete has to bring his own DAEDO sensor socks.
Entry fee:
All players category A: 75 Euro
All players Category B: 40 Euro
Change of weight category after the deadline or at the weigh in: 20 Euro

POOMSAE-OUTLINE
Participants: Belt categories:
9-11 / 12-14 years:

Recognized Poomsae in Category A and B and in all age classes
Freestyle Poomsae only in Category A, age classes 9 – 11 and 12 - 14

Free Style competition only for Category A!
The music for the Free-Style-Competition has to be brought by the
competitor, as MP3 on an USB-Stick. FAT Format, for each competitor one
USB-Stick with exactly one MP 3.
Compulsory Poomsae:
Category A: One (1) day before the competition the Taegeuk/Poomsae will be
published on the website www.taekwondo-aktuell.de
Category B: Please choose the poomsae according to graduation from the list below .
The poomsae will be announced by the player before he enters the
competition area. With Pair and Team poomsae according to the player
with the lowest grade.

FAMILY-POOMSAE EVENT
Participants: Children who start with mother, father or both.
Modus: All Participants do Taeguk-Il-Jang (Taegeuk 1).
Entitled to participate are: Child + Mother, Child + Father, all of them wearing Doboks!
Competition Classes:
Category A: Child and/or mother/father have 4th Kup or higher.
Technique will count 70 %, presentation/harmony between children and parents 30 %
Category B: Child and/or mother/father have 5th Kup or lower.
Technique will count 30 %, presentation/harmony between children and parents 70 %
In the Family Poomsae event the participant with the lower belt decides the Category.
Four teams will start in a group, among which the first, second and the two third places will be
decided.
There will be several groups and several winners per category!
Categories will not be divided between Boys and Girls.
An experienced referee will evaluate the teams.
Age categories are determined according to the age of the children:
6 - 8 years and younger (born 2011, 2012, 2013)
9-11 years (born 2008, 2009, 2010)
12-14 years (cadets) (born 2005, 2006, 2007)
Participants can choose the day on which they start (February 2 or 3). If your child also does
regular poomsae or kyorugi, pleas choose the other day for family poomsae. The starting time
will be announced at the tournament.

for Familiy-Poomsae) and give: name/gender/age/belt category of child and parent + Saturday
or Sunday as starting day (starting day of you own choice)

GENERAL INFORMATION
Transportation & Accommodation
All teams have to organize and pay for their own transportation and accommodation.
The choice of hotels is free.
A list of hotels with special prices will follow.
Referees:
In the classes that qualify for the European Championships international Kyorugi and Poomsae
Referees will officiate, under supervision of World Taekwondo Europe.
Referees with national license are very welcome to officiate in the other classes. If you have a
refree in your team who want’s to come to Sindelfingen please let us know under
[email protected] by January 20, 2019
Admission for spectators:
Adults: 1 day – 12 Euro Minors: 1 day – 6 Euro
2 days – 10 Euro 2 days – 10 Eur
Discount for subscribers of the magazine Taekwondo Aktuell:
Subscribers receive either a 10 Euro discount on the starting fee (for one subscription 10 Euro
once – not for the whole club!) OR free admission to the venue. To get a discount / free
admission please send us an E-Mail with your subscription number and name to
[email protected] by January 27. Otherwise there is no reduction possible.
Liability / Privacy
All contestants participate at their own risk. With their registration all competitors or their parents or lawful guardians accept the exclusion of liability. The organizers handle the tournament registrations online via www.tpss.eu. We would like to point out that with your registration you declare your consent to the collection, processing and use of your personal data via these databases. The organizers assert that the data collected are used in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation, only as a means to carry out the 2nd International President’s Cup for Children.
Each participant agrees with the registration that his first name, name, age group, nation, club and placement are published in the result lists online and/or in print. By registering, all participants also agree that their image may be published as a photo or film footage and/or their name in reports that appear in any media during or after the tournament.
The person responsible for the registration of the members of a club should seek the consent to the publication of each participant of his club or of his/her legal guardian.
A written consent must be submitted (please find enclosed below) at the registration, signed by parents or legal guardians, accepting their participation and all parts of the official invitation.
