Facebook v/s GoogleDifferent points to ellaborate onWhat is Facebook?
What is Google?
Different applications of google
The variety of fields where google has its stand
The different kinds of users using facebook and google
What facebook needs to do to achieve the position which google has right now
Lets try to ellaborate now
What is facebook?
Facebook is a social networking site that is operated and privately owned by Facebook, Inc.Facebook has more than 600 million active users.Users may create a personal profile, add other
users as friends and exchange messages, including automatic notifications when they update their
profile. Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg with his college roommates and fellow computer
science students
What is google?
Google is an American MNC invested in Internet search, cloud computing, and advertising
technologies. The company was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, often dubbed the "Google
Guys". Google's core business is its search engine. It uses a text-matching technique to find web
pages that are important and relevant to a user's search. Page and Brin called this new technology
PageRank, where a website's relevance was determined by the number of pages, and the
importance of those pages, that linked back to the original site.
Different applications of google
Google has its search engine, social networking site orkut, e-mailing servicing gmail, a messenger
gtalk, google earth for finding places on the globe, google analytics that gives you rich insights into
your website traffic and marketing effectiveness, a browser google chrome etc. Google leads the
development of the Android mobile phone operating system, used on a number of phones.
Facebook was developed for the users of age group 15-30. Also as a rule Facebook allows anyone
who declares themselves to be at least 13 years old to become a registered user of the website. But
now it is used by a wider range of people. Google can be used by all the users of any age group.
Now-a-days everyone requires Internet to search any kind of information. But for the first time in
august 2010 - facebook users spent 41.1 million minutes whereas Google spent 39.8 million mins -
this can pose as a threat to google. But for google ads, efficiency is more imp than time spent.

therefore as a conclusion to override google , facebook will have to put in a great effort to diversify
and establish itself in variety of fields. Just being a social site is not enough. It needs to have many
different kinds of application like a search engine, it can have a web browser of its own, etc.In all
google has already developed so much that facebook would require a lot more to override or
surpass google. It is difficult but not impossible.
I would like to list down some interesting facts about facebook and google
Facebook has its own space where we can upload, share and view videos and these drive more
traffic to google's youtube. There are many other features such as adding photos to your profile and
tagging them which are presently not available with google.
More than thousands of the websites have deployed the facebook "like" button such as amazon.
Difference btwn c& c++
All of these are programming languages.
Programming languages are of two types, namely:
(a) Modular or function-based Programming Language
(b) Object-oriented Programming Language.
C is a modular programming language and doesn't have object-oriented features in it.
whereas, C++ supports both modular and object-oriented features.
Java is a completely object-oriented language as it doesn't allow modular programming. In
Java every object has to be defined in terms of a class.
I think now your doubts are clear.
All the best!

Anna Hazare's hunger strike at Jantar MantarinNew Delhi.
Main article: 2011 Indian anti-corruption movement
In 2011, Hazare initiated aSatyagraha movement for passing a stronger anti-
corruption Lokpal (ombudsman) bill in the Indian Parliament as conceived in theJan Lokpal Bill (People's
Ombudsman Bill). The Jan Lokpal Bill was drafted earlier by N. Santosh Hegde, former justice of
the Supreme Court of India andLokayukta ofKarnataka, Prashant Bhushan, a senior lawyer in the
Supreme Court and Arvind Kejriwal, a social activist along with members of the India Against
Corruption movement. This draft bill incorporated more stringent provisions and wider power to
the Lokpal(Ombudsman) than the draft Lokpal bill prepared by the government in 2010.[63] These include
placing "the Prime Ministerwithin the ambit of the proposed lokpals powers".[
History of anna hazre
Early life
Kisan Hazare was born on 15 June 1937 [citation needed] (some sources say 1940)[11] in Bhingar, near
to Ahmednagar. The eldest son, with two sisters and four brothers, the later adoption of the
nameAnna reflects the Indian word for "elder brother". His father worked in a pharmacy and struggled to
support the family financially. In time, the family moved to their ancestral village of Ralegan Siddhi, where
they owned a small amount of agricultural land. A relative took on the burden of providing Kisan with an
education, taking him to Mumbai because the village had no primary school. The relative became unable
financially to continue the support and Kisan's schooling ended in the Standard Seventh grade; his
siblings were not schooled at all.[12] He started selling flowers at the Dadarrailway station in Mumbai and
was able eventually to own two flower shops in the city.[13] He also became involved in vigilantism, joining
groups who acted to prevent the poor from being bullied out of their shelters by thugs in the employ of
landlords.[14]

The Indo-China War of 1962 caused theIndian Army to commence emergency recruitment measures.
Hazare was recruited in April 1963, despite not meeting the physical requirements, and was attested as a
soldier on 16 November of that year after undertaking training at Aurangabad.[12][15]
During the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965, Hazare was posted at the border in the Khem Karan sector. He
was the sole survivor of an enemy attack - variously claimed to have been a bomb, an aerial assault and
an exchange of fire at the border - while he was driving a truck.[12][13][16]The experiences of war time,
coupled with the poverty from which he had come, affected him. He had considered suicide at one point
but now turned to pondering the meaning of life and death.[12] He has said of the truck attack that "[It] sent
me thinking. I felt that God wanted me to stay alive for some reason. I was re-born in the battlefield of
Khem Karan. And I decided to dedicate my new life to serving people."[13] He spent his spare time reading
the works ofSwami Vivekananda,Gandhi, and Vinoba Bhave.[17] In a blog post, Hazare expressed his
views on Kashmirby saying that it was his "active conviction that Kashmir is an integral part of India" and
that if required once again for service, he would remain "ready to take part in war against Pakistan."[18]
During the mid-1970s, Hazare survived a road accident while driving for the army. He interpreted his
survival as a further sign that his life was intended to be dedicated to the service of the community.
[14]Despite subsequent allegations that he had deserted from the army, official records show that he washonourably discharged in 1975 after completing his 12 years of service.[15]
Transformation of Ralegan Siddhi
Hazare returned to Ralegan Siddhi, a village described by Satpathy and Mehta as being then "one of the
many villages of India plagued by acute poverty, deprivation, a fragile ecosystem, neglect and
hopelessness."[19]
Although most of the villagers owned some land, cultivation was extremely difficult due to the rocky
ground preventing retention of the monsoon rains; this situation had not been assisted by a gradual
deterioration as trees were cut down, erosion spread and droughts were also experienced. The shortage
of water also led to disease because conditions became unsanitary and water was re-used for multiplepurposes. The economy of the village had become reliant on illegal manufacture and sale of alcohol, a
product to which many of the villagers had themselves become addicted. Many inhabitants were at the
mercy of moneylenders in order to survive, and those lenders would charge monthly interest rates of as
much as 10%. Crime and violence (including domestic violence) had become commonplace, while
education and employment opportunities were poor.[14][20]
Hazare was relatively wealthy because of the gratuity from his army service. He set about using that
money to restore a run-down, vandalised village temple as a focal point for the community. Some were
able to respond with small financial donations but many other villagers, particularly among the elderly,
donated their labour in a process that became known as shramdaan. Some youths also became involved
in the work and these he organised into a Tarun Mandal(Youth Association). One of the works ofVivekananda which he had read was Call to the youth for nation building.[21]

I definetely gonna support the Smart workingguys, b'coz they are having a clear picture oftheir aims and objectives and they also knowhow to achieve their goals. They, first make a
plan of what is to be done, and work upontheir strategy made. Achieving goals alsorequire hard work for them.On the other hand, in most of the cases, Hardworking guys seem to work hard withoutknowing about the short-cuts and theconsequences of their hard-work. Only doinghard work and hard work is like a WILD GOOSECHASE, and nothing else. Percentage ofSuccess is very less in this case. So, I am in favour of Smart working guys,b'coz, if u have to survive in the modernworld, and if u have to compete in the moderncompetent environment, then surely, u haveto be smart and fast.I hope that u have understood my point .

What I believe is Smart work & hard workgo together. If you are an agent of any callcenter & you are satisfying your customerswhile on phone & ur Team Leader is happy

with you but you are not maintaining yourstats then at the end of the month you willget your normal salary. However if you willmaintain your stats & will satisfy customers
as well then you would get a very goodsalary. You would have got brilliant chancesof promotion if u are doing smart workincluding hard work. Such kind of personcomes in the eyes of his Managers &supervisors, but if a person will keep ondoing hard work like a spider does to climbthe wall then it will take a very long time
for him to get promoted.
Smart work in an industry means urmanager should see that you are doinghard work & taking care of the entire teamin absence of ur team leader. So, these two things go all together.

I think hard working or smart working bothgoes together. If working day n nightwithout any strategy you might not achieveyour goal. Suppose before examination youare working hard but you dont have anyidea or skill that what kind of question needto prepare more you never get yoursuccess. Both together like SONE PESUHAGA.

Yes ,definitely one can make a difference in the
society and the environment he has grown in.HereI am not talking about Mahatma Gandhi,MartinLuther King ,Winston Churchill or the leaders whohave made history. But my point is that we as anindividual can even make significant contributionto the society, like by taking initiative to plant treesin the colony we stay, try to educate atleast oneindividual who belongs to a decripit
family. So,there are ways in which ,we can becomean ideal person and we can set anexample....So,Yes even one can make a
difference.

Yes I believe that one can make difference. One person can make changes everybodyhas this power. For example like in thisselfish world nobody think about poorpeople if in every family even one personwould help poor people (financially, emotionally, etc) by this most of the poorpeople would be educated. Every onepeople can make his society or city neat

It is a very powerful sayings that "One canmake a difference". Ofcourse, everyindividual has the capacity to do greatthings. But most of the peoples have plansin their mind and they are not applying it intheir day-to-day life. It makes them to losetheir outstanding performance. If theyimplement it in their life, they could make adifference and it will be a source ofinspiration for others also.

I dont fully agree with u all, one can make adifference but to some extent. In todayscurrepted world if at all u try to make adifference u will be in a trap. Yes but that
doest mean that u should not take anyinitiative to change something which isgoing wrong. But it is a bit difficult for only 1person to bring about any major change.Every thing lies in how u convince others todo what u think? If u do that effectively uhav made a difference.
10 Major Differences Between C And JAVAOctober 8th, 2010Rishabh DevLeave a comment Go to comments
Here are the major differences between C And JAVA.
1. JAVA is Object-Oriented while C is procedural. Different Paradigms, that is.
Most differences between the features of the two languages arise due to the use of
different programming paradigms. C breaks down to functions while JAVA breaks down
to Objects. C is more procedure-oriented while JAVA is data-oriented.
2. Java is an Interpreted language while C is a compiled language.
We all know what a compiler does. It takes your code & translates it into something the
machine can understand-that is to say-0's & 1's-the machine-level code. That's exactly
what happens with our C code-it gets 'compiled'. While with JAVA, the code is first
transformed to what is called the bytecode. This bytecode is then executed by the
JVM(Java Virtual Machine). For the same reason, JAVA code is more portable.
3. C is a low-level language while JAVA is a high-level language.
C is a low-level language(difficult interpretation for the user, closer significance to the
machine-level code) while JAVA is a high-level lagunage(abstracted from the machine-
level details, closer significance to the program itself).
4. C uses the top-down {sharp & smooth} approach while JAVA uses the bottom-
up{on the rocks} approach.
In C, formulating the program begins by defining the whole and then splitting them into
smaller elements. JAVA(and C++ and other OOP languages) follows the bottom-up
approach where the smaller elements combine together to form the whole.
http://www.durofy.com/author/rishabhdev/http://zarrata.com/durofy/programming/c-as-a-multi-paradigm-programming-language/http://www.durofy.com/author/rishabhdev/http://zarrata.com/durofy/programming/c-as-a-multi-paradigm-programming-language/8/3/2019 Current Group Discussion Topics
13/36
5. Pointer go backstage in JAVA while C requires explicit handling of pointers.
When it comes to JAVA, we don't need the *'s & &'s to deal with pointers & their
addressing. More formally, there is no pointer syntax required in JAVA. It does what it
needs to do. While in JAVA, we do create references for objects.
6. The Behind-the-scenes Memory Management with JAVA & The User-Based MemoryManagement in C.
Remember 'malloc' & 'free'? Those are the library calls used in C to allocate & free
chunks of memory for specific data(specified using the keyword 'sizeof'). Hence in C,
the memory is managed by the user while JAVA uses a garbage collector that deletes
the objects that no longer have any references to them.
7. JAVA supports Method Overloading while C does not support overloading at all.
JAVA supports function or method overloading-that is we can have two or more
functions with the same name(with certain varying parameters like return types to allow
the machine to differentiate between them). That it to say, we can overload methods
with the same name having different method signatures. JAVA(unlike C++), does not
support Operator Overloading while C does not allow overloading at all.
8. Unlike C, JAVA does not support Preprocessors, & does not really them.
The preprocessor directives like #include & #define, etc are considered one of the most
essential elements of C programming. However, there are no preprocessors in JAVA.
JAVA uses other alternatives for the preprocessors. For instance, public static final is
used instead of the #define preprocessor. Java maps class names to a directory and file
structure instead of the #include used to include files in C.
9. The standard Input & Output Functions.
Although this difference might not hold any conceptual(intuitive) significance, but it's
maybe just the tradition. C uses the printf & scanf functions as its standard input &
output while JAVA uses the System.out.print & System.in.read functions.
10. Exception Handling in JAVA And the errors & crashes in C.
When an error occurs in a Java program it results in an exception being thrown. It can
then be handled using various exception handling techniques. While in C, if there's an
error, there IS an error.

Freedoms was due to the brave freedomfighters
that our country hadIt was the result of the hard work andpatriotism of all of themThe great GANDHIJI was undoubtedlythe most important chapter in thehistory of our freedom strugglebut it would be wrong to grant creditonly to him.We must always realise it was never
a 1 man's journey.

No , I think there are lots of differences inthoughts and applications and hence maleand female are not equal in all the aspects.A female has more perseverance and she ismore emotionally attached. While a male isgenerally temporal in nature but he is not

Hello everybody,
I read all the replies, and i got a thoughtthat "How can we compare men andwomen?".A female excels in the fieldsalloted to them by the nature and a manfails in those fields.Similarly man excels inhis respective.

HI guys I think its a difficult job to compare
men and women in 21st century. Where asin past century women were not soqualified and educated..That we cancompare to men.But now both have their own qualities butin different ways. Like women are notphysically as strong as men but even menare not so qualified in cooking as well as
women. So I just wanna say that both havetheir own qualities but in different aspects.

life is realiy beautiful:it depends upon person to person.it is how
we handle the situation in our life.Life canbe curse for those who thinks so.it entirelydepends on our thinking.
a drug addict can make his life a hell or aheaven.it depents upon him/her.he canmake his life beautiful by leaving drugs andcan make his life hell by getting addicted to
this poision.
life can be good for the students if theystudy hard and never lose heart.also it canbe hell to him if he indulge himself in evilpractices like cheating, leaking papers etc.
so god has given everyone this precious lifeand ask us to choose our own path so it isupto u how u take and live your life.

Its a cute topic. Really life is a beautifulthing which has to be utilized in a good
way. We must have the intention of helpingothers while we were helped byothers(Parents). Once, you have a practiseof helping orphans and handicaps, you canunderstand there problem and could realizehow gifted we are with healthy life. So,everyday have a smile in your face andcheer up others also.

In my opinion, it is right in certain areas and wrong in many areas .Right for the fact that it is for the
eradication of corruption, wrong since corruption won't get eradicated completely by this bill . It's really
naive to think that one small bill is gonna erase corruption. The principles of the bill breaks the very
essence of a country which has a constitution. The constitutional body is supposed to be the higher
power. The demands of Hazare & Co calls for a parallel governance. By the way, if the Lokpal Committee
is supposed to be the ones looking into charges of corruption and can interrogate the PM himself, what or
where is the guarantee that the ones in that Committee aren't corrupt ?? Corrupt people like A Raja wereelected by the people at some point.....
The people who support Hazare ........does 90% of them know what they are there for or what are the bill
amendments ? I don't think so ........they saw a few 100 people fed up and affected by corruption, TV
cameras and they came along !! Aren't they themselves corrupt ? Should they really be criticizing
Manmohan Singh, a very honest man as far as i'm concerned and someone who repaired the sinking
economy of india back in 1990s removing all obstacles detrimental to India's growth ? It was even shown
on news channels how many "crusaders of anti-corruption" are a bunch of drunken f***in jack***es riding
bikes at high speeds without helmets through the roads in front of the helpless police, the great escaping
tool used is an indian flag and a nehru cap !!! So first up, they should improve upon themselves and if
they can't , just shut the hell up and sit at home rather than being hypocritical losers !
Coming to hypocritical part of Hazare's team ,not necessarily Hazare himself, at one point of time theyask the BJP and other parties to support them ........at another point of time, they criticize them and talk
foul on them !! Do they think BJP is any better than the present government ??They are seeking a one-
minded party like BJP to support them against the much more respectable Congress ! The BJP too had
come into power many no of times after this bill was first introduced 4 decades back........why didn't they
take much initiative other than the one time during 2002 with Vajpayee as PM ?
They portray corruption as the biggest evil........really ?? What about communalism ? What about Child
Labour, which is still quite prevalent despite laws being made against it ? Corruption is one of them, not
the biggest as portrayed by Hazare and his team ! Ironically, BJP are the ones who were responsible for
some of the most atrocious communal violence in Indian history !!
