Market participants have to register and update the information they provide to NRAs

NRAs have set up the national registers of market participants established in their own Member State, as well as the non-EU market participants active in their Member State

The Agency has to set up a Centralised European Register of wholesale Energy Market Participants (CEREMP)

. Types of NRAs

• 25 NRAs type A (using CEREMP for registration)

• 4 NRAs type B (using their own systems for registration). CEREMP ready for go-live: 16 June 2014. NRAs were provided with the Registration User Manual for MPs (‘RUM’), Guides for NRAs, Contingency plan. No central point for the registration of MPs at European level. Registration falls under competencies of each NRA at national level including the timing of go-live for MPs.. 1 NRA has enabled the registration of MPs through CEREMP
