TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Teaching Associate, Department of Egyptology, University of Liverpool, 2014. Taught lectures and
graded term papers for the course, Sacred Landscapes in Ancient Egypt, on the ways that the
Egyptians integrated notions of the divine into their daily lives.
Course Designer, Department of Mathematics, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, 2010. Wrote the
course syllabus for course for introductory programming course teaching C/C++.

Instructor, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, 2006-2007. Taught two sections of a semester-length,
survey course on the history of Christianity from the time of the Apostles up to the Protestant
Reformation as a field education course within a church setting.
Teaching Assistant/Academic Intern, Department of History, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, 2007-
2009. On three separate occasions taught the lecture “Art Perspective in the Renaissance” for
the graduate level course, History of the Renaissance, graded exams and was the fill-in lecturer
for the professor when he was out of town for the History of Christianity and American Church
History courses.
Guest Lecturer, Department of Old Testament, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, 2008. Gave a guest
lecture to the Middle Egyptian class on type-setting technology for Middle Egyptian
hieroglyphic fonts.
Teacher/Curator, Carson Valley Museum and Cultural Center, 2002. Developed an art training
program in the Smallwood Youth Gallery for a regional historical museum, benefiting high
school students who wanted a career in art.
High School Teacher, Carson Valley School District, 2002. During the Spring school term, was a
substitute high school teacher covering a variety of subjects including history, computer
