Present Status

Working with TR IDENT GROUP as Executive Engineer in Centralized Electrical Workshop. Look after all type of maintenance work of plants, handling centralized maintenance team.

Work Experience

¸ September 2013 - Till Now.

¸ Working with Trident Group Punjab as Executive Engineer in Centralized Electrical Workshop where handling operation and maintenance of various electrical equipments, switchgears and substation.

∑ Planning and execution of maintenance programs for equipment assigned, handling maintenance team for daily maintenance assignment, establishing job priorities and time frames for maintenance Staff, distribution of Proper workload, Prepared and updated Machine maintenance history.

∑ Carried out overhauling, repair work and maintenance of motors and submersible of various ratings.

∑ Performed Insulation Resistance testing of motors and improved IR value of motors by drying out in oven and applying varnish. High voltage testing (HIPOT) of motors and submersible. Done fault finding and troubleshooting of motors and submersible.

∑ Lead preventive maintenance of Distribution Transformers, Motors switchgears and 11 KV substation & done installation of Earthing for motors and transformers where it was found damaged or above acceptable range.

∑ Done distribution transformer’s BDV testing o f Oil and filtering and Dehydration of Oil where ever BDV value found low.

∑ Managing timely and high quality implementation and execution of the preventive and break down maintenance of electrical equipments, managing and providing technical support in all shifts basis for delivery of all the electrical utilit ies. The utilities include Electrical pane l maintenance , lighting system, electrical motors, Transformers and Control circuits etc.

∑ Leading technicians for machine troubleshooting, root cause analysis and effective countermeasure using TPM tools and methodologies to improve machine’s reliability, conducting Root cause analysis of recurring problems and initiated corrective actions in order reduce downtime and maintenance cost.

∑ Designed training material and provided former training to peers and technicians in his specialized area, identified & reduced non-value adding act ivities.

∑ Done Spare parts and inventory management of required materials and taking follow up fro m with the Procurement Team & also coordinating with vendors & providing technical support to Purchase department for procurement of Engineering items. Doing inspection of inco ming engineering items.

∑ Knowledge of maintenance practices like 5S, Kaizen and aligned with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) like Search Free Count Free (SFCF) on shop floor Train the trainer, Kaizen (Continuous Improvement), One Point Lesson (OPL), Cleaning, Lubrication, Retightening and Inspection (CLRI) for machines, standard operating procedure for machine (SOP) o f machines and prepared maintenance prevention sheets (PM sheet).

∑ Workplace organization (5S), Poka yoke (Mistake proofing), visual management, fugais and EHS policy adherence.

∑ Done project on zero breakdown, accident and defect through TPM methodology and reduced breakdown through various improvements analysis and using 7 QC tools.

¸ From August 2012 - September 2013.

¸ Worked as Diploma engineer basis with BSES Rajdhani power Limited (JV of REL and Govt. of NCT De lhi) in Operation and maintenance Department of Division Vikaspuri New Delhi.

∑ Carried out installation and commissioning of Distribution Transformers o f various Cap i.e. 400,630,990KVA, Circuit Breakers (ACB&SF6) and R ing Main Units.

∑ Carried out Preventive maintenance of 11KV substations of Division Vikaspuri. Planned all inventories required for the maintenance. Performed the insulation testing of all the DT's and cables.

∑ Done high voltage (HIPOT) testing of DT’s and cables. ∑ Done replacement of Low IR Transformers. Done the BDV testing of Oil of DT's and

OCB's. ∑ Done the filtering and Dehydration of Oil where ever BDV value found low. ∑ Replacement of all the worn out parts of Switchgears and DT's. Load measurement

and balancing. ∑ Repairing of faulty mechanism o f CB 's. Checked the earth resistance and provided

the Earthing where ever it was above the acceptance level. ∑ Replacement of GO and DD Switch (Isolator) was done in the maintenance. Traced

out the hotspot and tightening or replacement work was done on that portion.∑ Played a very important role in the Loss reduction of Division Vikaspuri by

implementing various system improvement schemes like replacement of bare conductors with LTAB conductor, HVDS ,LT & ST Pole tagging,

∑ Worked on VCB, OCB, ACB, and SF6 Circuit Breakers various makes such as ABB, Siemens, and Schneider Electric etc.

∑ Done Asset and resource management by collecting details, Establishing job priorities and time frames for Maintenance Staff. Of Electrical equipments in the concerned division. Worked on Fixed asset updating mo dule for keeping the updated record.
