3. Meade M, Huang MH (Co-Principal Investigator), Pienta A. Creating Best Practices for Knowledge Translation to Enhance the Health of Individuals with Disabilities. This project is to implement the best practice in individuals with chronic disabilities. Specifically our goal is to promote function, health, and well-being of cancer survivors, particularly on their mobility, balance, and fall risks, in the Flint communities. University of Michigan funded the research through the interdisciplinary MCubed grant.

4. Krishnan C, Huang MH (Co-Investigator), Claflin T. Roberts M, Lietz H. Kinect Rehabilitation for Survivors of Stroke. This project aims to develop prototype virtual reality system for use in stroke rehabilitation. The system basically takes the movements of the less-impaired arm and projects it like Mirror Therapy to their more-affected limb. MICHR at the University of Michigan funded this research.
