Where to stay

There are good Hotels in Praia da Rocha and Alvor. In Praia da Rocha we can get a room for a good price, but is not the same, if you want extra services. In Alvor you have great hotels, which are a bit more expensive, but have good services to offer.

When to visit

The summer is the best time to visit Portimão, because in that season there are boats that offer trips to the caves and also river trips along the Coast of Arade River. Portimão has the biggest autodromo in Europe, if you like you can watch car and moto racers.
