“I chose to study at Curtin for my masters because the university ranks highly in the ARWU Australian World Rankings 2016, and because it offers a double masters with my partnership school in Paris.

The flexible class and lecture times mean I can choose a timetable that suits me. I’ve found the Culture and Ethics in Business unit especially enjoyable because it’s taught me a lot about working with other countries and cultures.”

“I currently work at KPMG as an analytics, information and modelling consultant. This course equipped me with a solid understanding in programming logic, database structures and data mining

techniques, which has enabled me to excel in my current position.

The best project I worked on during my course was a real forensic investigation in the

Computer Forensics unit. The case had not yet been solved, so the project was not only

practical, but also intriguing.

The unit focused around the techniques used during a forensic investigation, as well as a thorough investigation relating to the events that unfolded. At the end of the assignment I had to force myself to stop working on it and focus on my other assignments as I became

determined to solve the case!”

Procurement can be tactical, and it often forms part of a company’s operations strategy. A procurement professional may use cost-benefit analyses or cost-utility analyses to make good decisions and to minimise risk.

GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN PROCUREMENTThis course offers you a foundation in procurement studies. You will complete one core unit studying organisational behaviour at an individual, group and organisational level, exploring issues that are changing the way work is conducted, organised and managed today. The remainder of your units support learning in procurement.
