Custer ConnectionsIn honor of Women's History Month, we are introducing you to the Womenof the Custer Chamber. (don't worry-Fred will get his time in the spotlightnext week!) Below are a few fun facts about Karen, Pat, Dawn andDolsee. Follow our Facebook page for fun photos of the staff and moretidbits each Monday this month.
Karen:
Her favorite thing about her job at the Chamber is, "working with thestaff and board of the Chamber, with all our members, and meeting awealth of interesting visitors from around the world."Before she started at the Chamber, Karen retired from the US ForestService after 28 years as a Human Resource Specialist.When not at work, Karen can be found spending time with her family,reading, and walking.Something that people might not know about her? She prefers fall andwinter to spring and summer.
Pat:
Her favorite thing about her job at the Chamber is, "the diversity ofvisitors that stop by and the great coworkers."
Before she started at the Chamber, Pat worked at the Forest Serviceand the gift shop at Flintstones.Pat loves the blue sky above the trees in the Black Hills and thebeauty all around us.She's looking forward to meeting new folks this summer.
Dawn:
Her favorite thing about her job at the Chamber is, "planning eventsand meeting new people."

Her favorite thing about her job at the Chamber is, "the chance to becreative and all the great people we work with."Before she started at the Chamber, Dolsee was the ExecutiveDirector of the Keystone Chamber of Commerce and before that shewas a hotel managerWhen not at work, she can be found eating or sleeping...usuallyeating!Something that Dolsee is really good at is petting animals.
